The start of the 2024 NFL Regular Season is just over two weeks away. I don't know about you, but I am getting quite anxious. Thankfully, we have some funky futures bets to keep us busy until then.

I want to share with you guys some of the best bets I found for predicting an NFL team’s record through the first five games. I went into this thinking this would just be something fun. However, I came out of it with a ton of value.

We have predictions on the New York Jets and Giants, the Commanders, 49ers, and the Denver Broncos.

New York Jets

1 Win: +1000

2 Wins: +700

3 Wins: +160

4 Wins: +200

5 Wins: +700

As long as lightning doesn’t strike twice, the New York Jets should get off to a solid start in 2024. Well, they may take their first road loss in Week 1 after a trip to San Francisco. Following the 49ers, though, the Jets will be in the Gulf Stream with games against the Titans, Pats, Broncos, and Vikings.

The trip to Minnesota might get a little hairy, but I like New York to get to four wins here. They will likely lose against the Niners. The moneyline right now is (+195) for New York, which gives them about a 1 out of 3 chance of winning.

If you think they can beat the Niners, give the 5 wins some of your cash, but the play here is on four wins.

New York Giants

0 Wins: +700

1 Win: +265

2 Wins: +175

3 Wins: +275

4 Wins: +600

The New York Giants have one good thing going for them heading into the 2024 season. They have a new-look coach. Brian Daboll must have lost more than 100 pounds. He looks incredible. I love that for his energy levels. And if Daniel Jones can turn a corner, we might be talking about a playoff team.

Eh, those are high hopes at best. New York is in store for an ugly start to the season. They could easily lose all five, but let's give them one win. The (+275) is nice, especially considering they will likely be underdogs in each of their first five games.

San Francisco 49ers

0 Wins: +8000

1 Win: +2200

2 Wins: +650

3 Wins: +300

4 Wins: +190

5 Wins: +140

The Niners are probably going to be awesome this year, but I will take the near 2-1 betting odds for them to lose to either the New York Jets or the LA Rams. We might get burned here, but Matt Stafford and Aaron Rodgers, at their best, are nightmares at worst.

Washington Commanders

0 Wins: +750

1 Win: +250

2 Wins: +175

3 Wins: +250

4 Wins: +700

5 Wins: +3300

I believe this team loses on the road against Tampa Bay and Cincinnati. They will probably lose at home to the Browns. From there, they split their remaining two games opposite the Giants and the Arizona Cardinals.

The books seem to think they can pull off two wins, but rookie quarterbacks are sometimes different players at the end of the year compared to the beginning.

Denver Broncos

0 Wins: +600

1 Win: +180

2 Wins: +225

3 Wins: +275

4 Wins: +850

5 Wins: +4000

Will there be a team that goes winless in their first five games? I say yes. The Denver Broncos have a rookie quarterback. That's one check mark for us. They have three road games against playoff contenders. Denver hosts Pittsburgh. I have them losing there and Bo Nix getting suplexed by T.J. Watt. If the Raiders can get their stuff together by Week 5 and whoop the Broncos, we will cash a sexy 6-1 ticket.
