Super Bowl Favorites: Top US Sportsbooks List Championship Odds

FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM sportsbooks have released betting odds for winning this season’s NFL Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs are the favorite of all three sportsbooks going down to the Arizona Cardinals as the biggest longshot of the 32 teams in the league.

The NFL teams are listed with preseason odds for winning the 2024 Super Bowl. However, the odds are subject to change once the 2023/2024 season is in full swing. The final betting odds will be set for two NFL teams on Feb. 11 of next year when Super Bowl 58 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Here are the three top US sportsbooks’ betting odds for my three favorites, my legitimate contenders and my one live longshot to win the 2024 NFL’s Super Bowl.

Top Three Favorites

At the top of the list for winning the NFL’s Super Bowl 58 is the Kansas City Chiefs. FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM all have +600 odds that the Chiefs should be back-to-back champions of the NFL after winning the Super Bowl in February of 2023. Patrick Mahomes is the starting quarterback of Kansas City’s offense, and he is the best overall leader that plays the position.

My second-favorite of all three US sportsbooks is the Philadelphia Eagles. DraftKings has +650 odds with BetMGM at +700 and FanDuel at +800. Jalen Hurts is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league and the defense line just picked up Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith of the Georgia Bulldogs with two first-round selections.

The San Francisco 49ers are No. 3 on my list of favorites to win the 2024 Super Bowl. BetMGM has the lower +900 odds to get it done alongside FanDuel and DraftKings at +1000 odds. While the defense is filled with key players from the line to the backfield, the offense has questions at the quarterback position. Running back Christian McCaffrey is a plus for that situation.

Legitimate Contenders

The Baltimore Ravens settle into the top of my legitimate contender list. FanDuel ranks the Ravens more favorable at +1800 odds. DraftKings and BetMGM have +2000 odds that Baltimore will win Super Bowl 58. The key aspect of the offensive will be Lamar Jackson at quarterback. In his five-year career with the Ravens, Jackson has passed and run the ball over 16,640 yards.

Next in line for my legitimate contenders is the Miami Dolphins. BetMGM has the team’s odds at +2000 to win the next Super Bowl. FanDuel and DraftKings have +2500 odds to do the same thing. If he stays healthy, Tua Tagovailoa is the next young quarterback to set the mark with the Miami offense.

One Live Longshot

The New England Patriots have the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins to contend with the AFC East Division title, but long-time head coach Bill Belichick has a way of manufacturing wins to make it to the postseason this year. FanDuel has the Patriot’s betting odds at +5500 to rise up and win the 2024 Super Bowl. DraftKings has set the odds at +6500 and BetMGM has released the betting odds at +6600 for the NFL preseason.

Now we will ride them for a second straight week against another NFC North rival, the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are 8-2 on the season, yet are only around a field goal favorite. I still do not trust Sam Donald to win consistently over the course of a 17 game regular season. Minnesota is not as good as their 8-2 record would indicate and playing outdoors in Chicago on Sunday will cause issues for them on both sides of the ball. Chicago has been hit or miss this season, but they will be up to play another divisional rival and we expect them to take this down to the wire as well.
