NFL Office Pool Picks Week 17 - Every Game Picked ATS!
There are just 2 weeks to go in the regular season, and time is running out to shoot up your NFL office pool standings. Last week, we strung together our third straight positive week, going 11-5 ATS in all 16 NFL matchups. The favorites won most of their games, going 12-4 straight up, but they failed to get the covers, going just 7-9 Against the Spread. We have been on fire in recent weeks, and Doc’s Sports is the best place to get all your ATS betting needs. Here are the best bets ATS for every single Week 17 matchup.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Cleveland Browns (-7) Over New York Jets
The Browns can clinch a playoff spot with a victory over the Jets, and I expect them to do it in convincing fashion. Joe Flacco has been steady at the reins of the Cleveland offense. And the combination of solid, but not great, QB play, with their stellar defense, will be enough to get a win and cover at home against the lowly Jets. Browns 21, Jets 10
Dallas Cowboys (-6) Over Detroit Lions
The Lions will be jostling for playoff positioning, but this game means much more for the Cowboys. The difference between a division win and a 1 or 2 seed in the NFC, and a Wild Card position, where they will be on the road for every playoff game, cannot be understated. The Cowboys offense has been unstoppable at home, scoring 30+ points in all 7 home games. After a close first half, the Lions will eventually fall behind, succumbing to the Cowboys by double digits. Cowboys 37, Lions 24
Philadelphia Eagles (-10.5) Over Arizona Cardinals
The Eagles got back on track against the Giants last week. And while they may not have covered thanks to a late Tyrod Taylor touchdown, they were in the driver's seat for a majority of the contest. With the Cowboys nipping at their heels in the NFC East, they will put together another solid performance, leaving the unmotivated Cardinals in the dust. Eagles 28, Cardinals 13
Chicago Bears (-3) Over Atlanta Falcons
The Panthers are doing all the tanking for the Bears, allowing them to secure a top draft pick, while still putting wins on the board. Late season motivation is important, but I struggle to imagine the Falcons going on the road and getting their run game going. Taylor Heinicke gives the Falcons offense life. However, with Justin Fields playing solid football, the Bears won’t fall behind and let the Falcons dictate the pace. Bears 20, Falcons 13
Carolina Panthers (+7) Over Jacksonville Jaguars
The Panthers have begun to find some momentum, securing a victory and a pair of 3-point defeats in their last 4 games. The Jaguars are limping into the postseason. And while they will find a way to win, the Panthers offense will keep pushing forward and find a way to get the cover. Trevor Lawrence is badly bruised, and expecting a clinical performance from the third year QB is unrealistic. Jaguars 20, Panthers 17
New York Giants (+6) Over LA Rams
The Giants refuse to go down easy, and their strong defense and determined offense will keep this one close. The Rams get burnt in the secondary. And in order to get this cover on the road, they will need to play solid football on both sides of the ball. This one could quickly turn into a shootout, and in New York, I expect the Giants to keep this one close. Rams 30, Giants 27
Las Vegas Raiders (+3) Over Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have been far too inconsistent to deserve being the favorite, as the Raiders are quickly gaining some late season momentum. Both of these teams need a win to keep their playoff dreams alive, and I expect the strong defensive play under Antonio Pierce to be the difference maker. Gardner Minshew has been solid for the Colts, but the Cinderella story falls just short with a devastating Week 17 defeat. Raiders 28, Colts 17
Baltimore Ravens (-4) Over Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins may have gotten their first win over an above .500 team, but the Cowboys on the road are far from elite competition. Meanwhile, the Ravens just dominated the consensus best team in the league on Monday Night and will use that momentum to make an equally big statement against the Dolphins, securing the #1 seed in the AFC in the process. Short spread for the home team, whose defense and MVP play from Lamar Jackson will be too much for Miami to overcome. Ravens 28, Dolphins 20
New England Patriots (+12) Over Buffalo Bills
The Bills keep getting double digit spreads, despite consistently falling short. The Bills have been double digit favorites 3 times this season, and have yet to secure a cover, while the Patriots have covered in 3 of the 4 games they’ve been touchdown underdogs. Josh Allen will make one or two big mistakes that won’t cost the Bills the game, but it will cost them the cover. Bill Belichick has his back to the wall, and in a divisional matchup the Patriots defense will keep the Bills close. Bills 20, Patriots 10
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3) Over New Orleans Saints
After a promising start to the year, the Saints have fallen off a cliff. Their defense is suddenly weak, and their lackluster offense fails to make the explosive plays needed to win games in the NFL. Meanwhile, Baker Mayfield and the Bucs have a great chance to bolster their playoff hopes, and the poised Mayfield will carve up the Saints defense on route to a win and cover. Buccaneers 30, Saints 17
San Francisco 49ers (-13.5) Over Washington Commanders
Being a Commanders fan has been tough this season, and anything other than a 7th straight loss would be a shock. The 49ers will be angry with their Week 16 showing and will take their frustration out against a helpless Commanders organization. Brock Purdy will bounce back, as he’s done throughout his career, taking advantage of one of the worst defenses in the league. Whether it’s Sam Howell or Jacoby Brisett under center, the Commanders will be down several touchdowns before the second half commences. 49ers 38, Commanders 17
Houston Texans (-3.5) Over Tennessee Titans
CJ Stroud should be good to go for a pivotal Week 17 showdown for the Texans. The return of their rookie QB will bolster a free-falling Texans squad, whose only win in the last 3 weeks was against the Titans in Week 15. They won’t need overtime this time, as the Texans superiority on both sides of the ball will result in a semi-comfortable victory. Texans 24, Titans 17
Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5) Over Seattle Seahawks
The Steelers still have playoff life and will be bringing their A Game to Seattle. Pittsburgh has found ways to win games they deserve to lose, and a vulnerable Seahawks team will be their next victim. Strong defense and decent QB play will be enough to take advantage of the inevitable turnovers late season Geno Smith throws in their direction. Steelers 16, Seahawks 15
Kansas City Chiefs (-7) Over Cincinnati Bengals
The Chiefs are in desperate need of a big win, and the Bengals are making a daunting trip to Arrowhead. Patrick Mahomes has already set a career high in single season losses, and he’ll lean on his veteran wideouts to get a double-digit win. Kansas City needs their defense to step up. And against the inconsistent Jake Browning, they will do just that. Chiefs 27, Bengals 17
Denver Broncos (-3) Over LA Chargers
Easton Stick played solid football against the Bills, but the Chargers still lost despite a +3 turnover margin. Against the Broncos, who cannot afford to lose ground in the AFC playoff race, the Chargers will taste defeat once again. Russell Wilson has been put on the shelf, allowing Jarrett Stidham to take the reins. The Broncos have been in a slump, losing three of their last 4, but their strong defense will be the difference-maker against the Chargers. Broncos 20, Chargers 13
Minnesota Vikings (-2) Over Green Bay Packers
In a must win game for both teams, the Vikings will prevail at home. Jordan Love is the worst QB to start in Green Bay in the last 2 decades, and the Packers faithful are quickly losing hope. Minnesota has their own flaws. However, at home, their solid pass protection and an incredible catch or two from Justin Jefferson will get them over the line. Neither of these teams should be in the playoffs, but the victor will likely have a ‘win and you’re in’ Week 18 matchup on the horizon. Vikings 20, Packers 17
