NFL Office Pool Picks Week 13 - Every Game Picked ATS!
The NFL season is nearing completion, with just 6 weeks to go in the regular season. Now is the time to make your move up the office pool standings, and Doc’s Sports is the place to find all your ATS picks. Last week, we had one of the worst weeks of the year, going 5-10-1 ATS, bringing our season record to 90-85-5 so far this season. Favorites went 11-3 straight up, and 10-3-1 ATS, as the trend of favorites winning and covering, or losing outright, continues. A pivotal Week 13 slate awaits our dissection, and here are all the picks ATS for the upcoming NFL week.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Dallas Cowboys (-9) Over Seattle Seahawks
The Cowboys just keep rolling, scoring 30+ in each of their home games this season, and scoring 43+ in each of the last 3. Dak Prescott has been extremely efficient on offense, and their defense is an absolute nightmare to try and pick apart. The Cowboys win. And unless the Seahawks plan on scoring 28+ points, they will probably cover too. Cowboys 38, Seahawks 17
Arizona Cardinals (+5.5) Over Pittsburgh Steelers
I have been all over the Steelers in the underdog role this season, but as sizable favorites their offense is far too unproven to warrant a wager. Kyler Murray and the Cardinals still have plenty of things to play for, mainly the players' respective roster spots, and they have begun to put the pieces into place in recent weeks. The Steelers may have gotten a lift from the removal of Matt Canada, but their offense will be unable to comfortably pull away. Steelers 17, Cardinals 14
Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) Over New York Jets
It’s pretty difficult to put much faith into either of these teams right now. However, with Taylor Heinicke calling the shots in Atlanta, and Bijan Robinson finally being given a chance to shine, the Falcons will do enough to get them over the line. The Jets offense is lost, and a carousel of horrible quarterbacks has not helped the cause. New York’s defense will keep it close. However, when the Falcons churn up the ground and finish with 40+ minutes of possession, they’ll wear the Jets defense into submission. Falcons 20, Jets 13
Denver Broncos (+3.5) Over Houston Texans
The Texans have done a great job at putting wins on the board after a few seasons of rebuilding, but they are being given too much respect with this line. The Broncos have strung together 5 straight victories on the back of a much-improved defense. Russell Wilson still has just enough juice left in him to teach CJ Stroud a lesson and secure the Broncos 6th straight victory in the process. Broncos 28, Texans 27
Detroit Lions (-4) Over New Orleans Saints
The Lions may have suffered an embarrassing Thanksgiving defeat last week. However, with the extra rest and all the motivation in the world, they will get the needed victory in New Orleans. The Saints offense is looking horrendous, and a hungry Lions defense who will be eager to give their offense short fields will go to work. Jared Goff is due for a big game. And while he may not light up the scoreboard, he will get Detroit back on track with a composed victory. Lions 24, Saints 10
Indianapolis Colts (-1) Over Tennessee Titans
It’s puzzling to see the surging Colts as miniscule favorites against the free-falling Saints, but we will take full advantage. Gardner Minshew is the best backup in the league, and a solid Colts defense will not force Minshew to do too much. Despite the fact that this is exactly the type of game the Titans have pulled out of the bag so many times before, their luck will inevitably run out, as the Colts pull away late in the 4th quarter. Colts 28, Titans 16
LA Chargers (-6) Over New England Patriots
The Chargers and Patriots have been two of the most underwhelming teams in the league this season, but we’ll side with the more complete team to find a way to win big. The Patriots have a plethora of low tier QBs, while the Chargers have the privilege of sending Justin Herbert out there on a nightly basis. I can’t get further away from the Patriots right now, as it feels unlikely they pick up another win this season. Chargers 24, Patriots 9
Washington Commanders (+9.5) Over Miami Dolphins
The Commanders and Dolphins both have far superior offenses compared to their respective defensive units, and this one will quickly turn into a shootout. While Sam Howell and the Commanders are virtually out of the playoff race, their offense will still be firing on all cylinders, and has the capabilities to keep pace with the Dolphins. Thick line, Dolphins win but don’t cover. Dolphins 35, Commanders 28
Carolina Panthers (+5.5) Over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Panthers are 1-10, so any wager on their success comes with plenty of risk. However, when the price is right, we have no choice but to tail them. The Buccaneers do not deserve this kind of line against anyone in the league. And after the Panthers fired head coach Frank Reich, the team may come out with an extra pep in their step. It’s a divisional game, between two struggling teams, and I’ll happily take the points with the suddenly motivated Panthers. Panthers 17, Buccaneers 16
LA Rams (-3.5) Over Cleveland Browns
Cleveland was well on their way to a playoff position. However, after DeShaun Watson went down for the season, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson entered concussion protocol, suddenly the mood is bleak for the Browns. Meanwhile, the Rams are catching fire at the right time as they look to snatch a Wild Card spot from their NFC opposition. LA cannot afford to drop many more games if they are interested in playing meaningful January football, and a lifeless Browns team will not give them issues. Cleveland’s defense will make this closer than it should be, but Matthew Stafford and the Rams eventually prevail. Rams 24, Browns 17
Philadelphia Eagles (+2.5) Over San Francisco 49ers
The Eagles are 10-1 this season, routinely dominating anyone who dares line up across the field from them. They are at home again this week, and they are… underdogs? The 49ers bring a different set of challenges to their opposition, but the Eagles are the more complete team, playing at home, catching free points. There is absolutely no reason to believe the 49ers can do better than the Bills or Chiefs did against the Eagles, as Jalen Hurts and this lethal offensive line will push themselves to their league leading 11th victory of the season. Eagles 31, 49ers 26
Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) Over Green Bay Packers
The Packers will have a false sense of confidence after beating the Lions on Thanksgiving. However, in primetime, they will be reminded the Chiefs are still one of the best teams in the league. Jordan Love is one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks I’ve ever seen, and a quality Chiefs defense will be able to take advantage of his mistakes and allow Patrick Mahomes to pull away on the scoreboard. Chiefs 30, Packers 17
Jacksonville Jaguars (-8.5) Over Cincinnati Bengals
The Jaguars have built themselves a nice lead atop the AFC South, and Jake Browning and the Bengals will be unable to slow them down. The Bengals were finally coming to life before Joe Burrow got hurt, but they still are left with a mediocre defense and a lifeless offense. The Jaguars are eager to make real splashes in the AFC, and with the top seed still in play, they will not take this one lightly. Jaguars 28, Bengals 11
