The perfect example of following the steam is this first bet. That is, if we were to take the Wisconsin Badgers to go over their projected win total of 8.5 games.

This play is risky, because the Badgers are bringing in a new head coach for the 2023 season. Former Cincy skipper, Luke Fickell, is considered one of the best coaches in the nation.

Wisconsin also brought in one of the top offensive coordinators in college football, Phil Longo.

Eighteen starters are returning for the Badgers as well. What about their strength of schedule? Insert photo of my skinny arms here because their schedule is not strong. The Badgers will likely be favored against every opponent this season, minus the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Over 3.5 Wins: +116

Deion, Deion, Deion…

Primetime is somehow a more polarizing head coach than he was a two-sport professional athlete. The guy lives it. And by this point, I don't think anyone believes this is an act.

He hasn't rubbed everyone the right way, though, as some players have transferred to get away from him while others have decided to switch schools to play under Primetime.

Colorado won just a single game last season. We can't forget that fact. I believe Coach Sanders can turn things around, but it takes time.

This win total of 3.5 has been bet up and down since its release. The sharps and the public seem to have settled on the under for the Buffs.

I wanted to disagree, but they have a very tough schedule, and need to overachieve to win just three regular season games, much less four.

2023 USC Trojans Team Wins

Over 9.5 Wins: -120

Under 9.5 Wins: +100

This is another betting line that has seen a lot of action up to this point. In some sportsbooks, the win total of 9.5 has moved to 10 games, and I agree.

The USC Trojans are favored to win the Pac-12. And with Caleb Williams returning at quarterback, I dig their chances. Even with one of the highest-scoring offenses in the nation, the defense will likely still need to improve upon the unit they were last season.

The Pac-12 doesn't play a lot of defense, but boy, can the better teams out west put up some points! I trust the Trojans to win the majority of shootouts they find themselves in.

In Conclusion

I really like these bets! They aren’t the highest-paying odds because the value vessel made its way by us a while ago.

Hopefully, with the extra confidence we have now, you can up your bet size accordingly.

Wisconsin has the most expensive odds and turnover under the headsets. So, if you are like me and feel strongly about the USC bet, you can double up there.
