We generally see a solid group of competitors at the Travelers Championship and this year is no different. Out of the top-10 golfers in the world, five of them will be attending this weekend’s event. Out of this group, Rory McIlroy is coming in at +1000 odds while Scottie Scheffler is at +1100 and Justin Thomas is at 1200.

Scottie Scheffler is the number one golfer in the world right now and he is someone to keep an eye on for this event and rightfully so. Hideki Matsuyama is a Japanese born golfer turned pro at the age of 30. In his time on the tour, Matsuyama has shown the world he was ready for the big time and is showing it so far this year. He’s currently sitting in 5 th place in the FedExCup points rankings with 1,694 after moving up from the 7th spot. Matsuyama has played well in all facets of the game.
