NFL Office Pool Picks Week 6 with Expert Analysis and ATS Predictions
Depending on how much money you either won or lost, Week 5 was a great one solely from an entertainment perspective. I had very little hope for the 1 p.m. slate of games as they featured teams that were middling/not really good. However, these games proved me wrong, and we had some great games and finishes like the Packers/Bengals, Lions/Vikings, Eagles/Panthers and Patriots/Texans. All four of those games were decided by three points or less, and that set the stages for what was a solid 4 p.m. slate, headlined by the Browns/Chargers game and then the Sunday-nighter between the Bills and Chiefs. Let’s have a great week this week and let’s win some money.

Week 6 Picks Against the Spread
Dallas Cowboys -4 over New England Patriots: This is a relatively low line considering how both teams have looked to start the season. The Cowboys’ offense looks great, while the Patriots’ offense has struggled at times. This could be a look-ahead game for the Cowboys as they are on their bye next week, but 5-1 is a hell of a lot better than 4-2 heading into the bye. Take Dallas.
Green Bay Packers -4.5 over Chicago Bears: Just like the above game, I’m surprised the line isn’t higher. The Packers are a good football team, while the Bears are just breaking in their rookie quarterback. Aaron Rodgers owns the Bears, and I see no reason to believe he can’t win this game by a touchdown.
Los Angeles Rams -10.5 over New York Giants: At first glance, this may seem like a lot of points to be laying. However, if you believe the Rams’ defense is for real, the Giants should score no more than 14 points. The Rams’ offense has been so efficient through the first five weeks that if they reach 24 (something they’ve done in all four wins), they should cover this game easily.
Arizona Cardinals +2.5 over Cleveland Browns: This spot calls for me to take the Cardinals. The Browns were just in LA and put up a hell of a fight only to fall short. Now they come home and have to get up again for another really good team in the Cardinals. I think the Cardinals’ defense will be too much and Arizona gets another win.
Kansas City Chiefs -6.5 over Washington Football Team: I never imagined writing that this matchup would be a battle of teams that are 2-3 on the season. Yet here we are. The Chiefs are not in panic mode yet. However, if they fail to win this game, then I’m calling the fire brigade. Chiefs should get back on track against a bad Washington defense.
Minnesota Vikings +1 over Carolina Panthers: I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. No CMC in the Panthers’ lineup changes the entire complexion of their offense for the worse. The Vikings should be able to run the ball against the Panthers’ defense and pick up a much-needed win.
Indianapolis Colts -10 over Houston Texans: I understand the Colts blew a big lead on Monday vs Baltimore, but there were plenty of positives to take away from that game. They can run and throw the ball well, and they should be ready to take on a Texans’ team that’s feisty but not quite good enough.
Las Vegas Raiders +3 over Denver Broncos: I’ll keep this short and sweet. The Raiders could not have played any worse over the last two games. I also think the firing of Jon Gruden will help the team focus and win this football game.
Jacksonville Jaguars +3.5 over Miami Dolphins: Somebody has to win this game, right? I’m not counting on a blowout from either team, so I’ll take the points with the Jags. I mean, surely, they aren’t going to go 0-17. And looking at their schedule, this may be the only winnable game left.
Cincinnati Bengals -3 over Detroit Lions: Both teams are coming into this game off losses, but the Bengals are still above .500 and are still a real contender for a playoff spot. They have more talent than the Lions do, so I’ll bite on this cheap price.
Los Angeles Chargers +3.5 over Baltimore Ravens: Both teams came from behind to win their games last week, and this should be a great game to watch. I think anything more than a field goal is too high of a line for these evenly matched teams, so I’ll take the points.
Pittsburgh Steelers -4.5 over Seattle Seahawks: Normally I would be looking to fade the Steelers. However, with Seattle coming across the country with a backup quarterback, I think the Steelers are good value here at this line.
Buffalo Bills -5.5 over Tennessee Titans: And lastly, the Bills went into Arrowhead and demolished the Chiefs. Can they put up the same performance on the road again, this time at Tennessee? I say they can, because Josh Allen is playing out of this world right now and the defense is 10 times better than the Titans.
