NFL Office Pool Picks Week 6
It’s the 6th week in the NFL. Although we’ve had many scheduling changes and disruptions, we’ve made it this far. The NFL even decided to play a Tuesday night football game last week to make sure all games were played. I had to admit, that was pretty fun. There will be no Thursday night game this week. However, when Sunday hits, we’ll have a ton of action.
Many of our readers have NFL office pools that use them against the spread picks. We’re here to help you win those pools. It’s our mission to beat all of your co-workers and family members or friends for a little bit of money or bragging rights. Here’s the breakdown of every NFL game.
Ravens vs Eagles: The Eagles are 1-3-1 and will now take on the Ravens. Travis Fulgham broke out against the Steelers for 10 receptions and 152 yards. But the Ravens defense is allowing just 15.2 points per game. Take the Ravens -7.5.
Browns vs Steelers: The Browns are the real deal. Both teams have effectively stopped the run all season long, but the Browns have found ways to run the ball against some of the better run defenses in the league this season. It might be time to trust the Browns after all. Take the Browns +3.5.
Bengals vs Colts: The Bengals struggled on offense against the Ravens and will have another tough match-up against the Colts, who have played some solid defense this season as well. Take the veteran quarterback over the rookie. Take the Colts -8.
Falcons vs Vikings: The Falcons fired their head coach and general manager. The defense never woke up, and the offense was starting to tank after all the investments they’ve made in that unit. This defense isn’t stopping the Vikings. Take the Vikings -3.5.
Bears vs Panthers: Are the Bears the worst 4-1 team we’ve ever seen? The team already changed quarterbacks and has been winning close games where the other team really lost themselves. Either way, Carolina looks real tough right now, and the Panthers are playing fantastic defense and providing quality offense. Take the Panthers -2.5.
Football Team vs Giants: The Football Team couldn’t stop the Rams front seven and allowed Alex Smith and the Redskins quarterbacks to get sacked all day. That was cringy. The Giants actually have a top tier defense that can get some stops for the offense. Take the Giants -2.5.
Lions vs Jaguars: The Lions just had their bye week, having two weeks to prepare for a Jaguars team that can’t do anything right. The Lions are healthy and should be prepared against a bad Jaguars team. Take the Lions -3.5.
Texans vs Titans: Ryan Tannehill has become elite. It’s not my opinion. It’s a fact. The Titans are 4-0 after their incredible journey last season in the playoffs. They’re coming back for more against a terrible defense against the run in the Texans. Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill will tear that defense apart. Take the Titans -3.
Broncos vs Patriots: It looks like Cam Newton will be good to go. The odds have changed in favor of the Patriots, but what most haven’t noticed is that Drew Lock is slated to return for the Broncos, too. The Patriots defense should do what they always do, but it’ll be harder against Lock than those backups for Denver. Take the Patriots -9.5.
Jets vs Dolphins: The Jets will run it again with Flacco. This time without Le’Veon Bell, who was just released. Ryan Fitzpatrick will destroy his old team like he did to the 49ers last week. This is a crazy spread for a Dolphins game against the Jets, but the Jets have lost every game by at least 10 points. Take the Dolphins -9.5.
Packers vs Buccaneers: This is the match-up everyone has been waiting for. Tom Brady against Aaron Rodgers. Both quarterbacks have plenty of weapons injured and potentially out. Make sure to check the injury report before making your selection. But what Rodgers has done this season has been far more remarkable than Brady. Take the Packers -2.5.
Rams vs 49ers: The 49ers looked out of sync in their loss to the Dolphins. Meanwhile, the Rams have an offense that can do exactly what the Dolphins did. I won’t trust the 49ers again until I see them win by a wide margin again. Take the Rams -3.5.
Chiefs vs Bills: The Bills struggled on Tuesday night against the Titans. Sure, the Titans had all the time to prepare, but Josh Allen finally had an underwhelming game. The Chiefs defense isn’t the same as the Titans, and the Chiefs just lost to the Raiders last Sunday. One team will have a two-game losing streak. I’d trust the Chiefs more in this spot. Take the Chiefs -3.5.
Cardinals vs Cowboys: Dak Prescott is done for the season, and the Cowboys will now rely on Andy Dalton. Not a terrible quarterback to rely on if you’re the Cowboys. He has plenty of weapons and can easily take the Cowboys to the playoffs. The Cardinals defense hasn’t been great, and the offense has had its moments but hasn’t been eye-opening. Take the Cowboys +2.5.
