NFL Office Pool Picks Week 3
We’ve made it to the third week of the season in the NFL. Many of our readers have NFL office pools that use against the spread picks. We’re here to help you win those pools. It’s our mission to beat all of your co-workers and family members or friends for a little bit of money or bragging rights. Here’s the breakdown of every NFL game.
Dolphins @ Jaguars: The Dolphins and Jaguars have both shown off their offense at times. However, defense has been hard to come by for both of these teams. The defense I would trust more in this spot is the Jaguars. Gardner Minshew has clutch genes, and Ryan Fitzpatrick is always trailing late in games. Take the Jaguars -3.
Bears @ Falcons: The Falcons lost in embarrassing fashion to the Cowboys. They’ll either come out firing in this game or they’ll look silent. The Bears defense looked better against the Gants. However, with the way Matt Ryan is slinging, it’ll be hard to get stops. Take the Falcons -3.
Raiders @ Patriots: The Raiders have started the season 2-0 since moving to Las Vegas. Let’s just say this. If the Raiders beat the Patriots, the NFL might be rigged. (I kid) But in reality, the Patriots have one of the better secondaries in the game and have an offense that can take advantage of a bad Raiders defense. Take the Patriots -5.5.
49ers @ Giants: The 49ers are not healthy. In every position, you’ll basically see a backup. Some will lean on taking the Giants, but the reality is that they’ll be without some important personnel, too. Take the 49ers -4.
Bengals @ Eagles: This game might turn into an offensive explosion. Both defenses have been eaten up in the first two games. You’d expect the Eagles to get back to their offensive ways. However, without Jalen Reagor, things are looking interesting. Burrow with the back-door cover, please. Take the Bengals +5.
Texans @ Steelers: The Steelers defense struggled when Jeff Driskel came in for the Broncos at quarterback for Drew Lock. They’ll prepare for Deshaun Watson and will have their defensive looking mighty in this one. Take the Steelers -4.
Rams @ Bills: The Rams and Bills game might be the best game of the slate before the night games. Josh Allen has been tremendous throwing the ball, but he’ll take on a Rams defense that has played very well to start the season. Take the Rams +2.
Football Team @ Browns: The Football Team started their season off with a fluke. Dwayne Haskins isn’t ready for the spotlight. And while Baker Mayfield isn’t great, the ground game for the Browns should take over. Take the Browns -7.
Titans @ Vikings: The Vikings have looked miserable to start the season. Kirk Cousins is a turnover machine, and the defense can’t stop anything. Meanwhile, the Titans are 2-0 and have started to get their offense clicking. Take the Titans -2.5.
Jets @ Colts: The Jets are going to be picking first next season as long as Adam Gase is head coach. Philip Rivers has done a terrific job getting other receivers involved for the Colts, and that should be more than enough to get this win. I’d take this up to two touchdowns. Take the Colts -10.5.
Panthers @ Chargers: The Chargers will start Justin Herbert for the second week as Tyrod Taylor sits out due to an injury. Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey has an injury to his ankle and will sit out for the Panthers. The Chargers have a solid run defense. And without McCaffrey, the Panthers can only throw the ball so much. Take the Chargers -6.5.
Buccaneers @ Broncos: The Broncos signed Blake Bortles. You know they’re desperate. Jeff Driskel seems like the starter at this point. And while you’d hope the Broncos could lean on the run, the Buccaneers rushing defense is one of the best in the league. Tom Brady gets the job done here. Take the Buccaneers -6.
Lions @ Cardinals: The Cardinals are looking like the real deal after their 2-0 start. The momentum should continue as the Lions defense was torn apart by Aaron Rodgers last week. Take the Cardinals -5.5.
Cowboys @ Seahawks: The Cowboys fell so far behind in their last game against the Falcons that they needed a miracle to win. They got the miracle. However, if they fall behind MVP front-runner Russell Wilson, the Cowboys don’t stand a chance. Take the Seahawks -5.
Packers @ Saints Aaron Rodgers has the Green Bay offense looking exciting again. He’s back and healthy, and it’s showing. Meanwhile, the Saints rushing game is weak, and Drew Brees is busy overthrowing receivers this season. Take the Packers +3.5.
Chiefs @ Ravens: The Chiefs escaped the Chargers after a 23-20 overtime win. Mahomes didn’t look like himself and struggled against a rookie quarterback in Justin Herbert of the Chargers. The Ravens defense won’t make anything easier, and the Ravens offense is clicking. The Ravens are scoring more than 30 points a game to start the season. Take the Ravens -3.5.
