NFL Office Pool Picks Week 15
In the NFC, teams with 6-7 records are still fighting for a chance to make the playoffs. With an Arizona loss to the Eagles, the Bears or Vikings have a chance to complete the comeback and sit inside the playoff standings. That Vikings and Bears game will be critical for NFL standings and also your pick-em contest. We’ve got every game covered against the spread for Week 15.
Many of our readers have NFL office pools that use them against the spread picks. We’re here to help you win those pools. It’s our mission to beat all of your co-workers and family members or friends for a little bit of money or bragging rights. Here’s the breakdown of every NFL game.
Chargers vs Raiders: The Raiders defense has shown absolutely nothing positive in the second half of the season. The Raiders are fighting for a playoff position. However, with a defense this bad, teams like the Chargers can absolutely do enough to pull off the upset. This will be a Justin Herbert game where he becomes the No. 1 contender for the Rookie of the Year award. Take the Chargers +3.
Bills vs Broncos: The Broncos defense is a bit underrated. And while the Bills offense seems to be clicking on all cylinders, it just feels like the Bills are being overhyped right now. I like this game to finish way below the total of 50. I’m not so sure if the Bills will cover against the spread, but they’ll escape outright. I’d barely lean Bills ATS. Take the Bills -6.5.
Panthers vs Packers: The Packers offense should have no problems against one of the worst secondaries in football. The Panthers have had injuries at that position and what not. But no matter who they have out there, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will make them pay. Take the Packers -8.5.
Buccaneers vs Falcons: It’s pretty clear that the Falcons defense only comes alive in the second half of seasons. What’s also clear is that Matt Ryan is busy making rookie mistakes as a veteran quarterback. However, the same could be said about Tom Brady, the Buccaneers quarterback, who has made countless bad throws this season. I trust the talent on the Buccaneers more in this game and know the secondary can get a couple takeaways. Take the Buccaneers -6.
49ers vs Cowboys: If the 49ers commit to running the football and taking the ball out of QB Nick Mullens’ hands, the 49ers will win this game without question. I’m going to hope the Niners have the same game plan as myself here. Take the 49ers -3.
Lions vs Titans: The Lions secondary is brutal. And with first-round pick Jeff Okudah out for the season, it’s only getting worse. The Titans have a well-rounded offense. And while the defense is inconsistent, the Lions offense will have their struggles as they await Kenny Golladay’s return. Take the Titans -10.5.
Texans vs Colts: The Texans have scored seven points in six quarters. When Will Fuller was suspended, things just went downhill for the Texans. Understandably so. The Colts offense is clicking. And unlike the Texans, they have plenty of weapons to choose from. Look for the Colts to run all over the Texans. Take the Colts -7.
Patriots vs Dolphins: The Dolphins do a great job at getting takeaways. However, if Patriots quarterback Cam Newton can just hold onto the ball and limit turnovers, the Patriots can run a bit against the Dolphins and potentially win this game. I’m not impressed with the Dolphins offense just yet. Take the Patriots +2.5.
Bears vs Vikings: The Bears offense is rolling right now thanks to David Montgomery getting back onto the field. He’s changed everyone's perception on the Bears. While the defense needs to improve, I don’t think the offense has any trouble against a terrible Vikings defense. That’ll be enough. Take the Bears +3.
Seahawks vs Washington: Washington might be without their quarterback, Alex Smith. If that’s the case, Seattle should absolutely dominate on defense. Washington’s defense is very scary. They’ve got a ridiculous pass rush and do well in coverage. However, Russ Wilson will figure it out as the game continues. Take the Seahawks -5.5.
Jaguars vs Ravens: The Jaguars have elected to turn back to Gardner Minshew at quarterback. The offense might score some points, but the Ravens offense will score a whole lot more. Did you see what the Titans did to the Jaguars? Take the Ravens -13.
Jets vs Rams: The Jets have the worst secondary you’ll ever see and an offense that just doesn’t know how to get the job done. On the other hand, the Rams have it all. Every position is covered and deep, and that should be more than enough to cover this big spread. Don’t be scared! Take the Rams -17.
Eagles vs Cardinals: The Eagles debuted Jalen Hurts at quarterback and won a football game. This was a breath of fresh air for Eagles fans after defeating the Saints. But now teams kind of know what to expect. The Cardinals rushing defense hasn’t been great this season overall, however. This is a tight one, so take the points. Take the Eagles +6.5.
Chiefs vs Saints: As long as Drew Brees stays out, there’s no way you can take the Saints here. The coverage has been poor all season long. I don’t think the Saints can do enough to maintain the offense that the Chiefs provide. Take the Chiefs -3.
Browns vs Giants: The Browns offense is no joke. And while their defense is a bit questionable, the Giants offense, with a banged-up Daniel Jones, isn’t going to cut it. The Browns have swagger and nine wins, but they’ve also allowed more points than accumulated. Either way, they’ll come out with a big win. Take the Browns -4.
Steelers vs Bengals: This is a poor Monday Night Football game. The Bengals have nothing going for them offensively. Meanwhile, defensively, they’ve struggled just as much. The Steelers have lost two straight games and now hear whispers of people claiming this team is a fraud. That changes after this blowout. Take the Steelers -13.
