NFL Office Pool Picks Week 11
This season in the NFL, we’ve seen so many rookies step up. Part of the reason is due to the pandemic and COVID protocol. On Sunday, the Raiders might have to ask a lot from their second team on defense as eight players are now on the sideline due to contact tracing. However, if these players continue to test negative for the virus, they should be good to go for Sunday. Keep an eye out if you’re betting on the Raiders game.
Many of our readers have NFL office pools that use against the spread picks. We’re here to help you win those pools. It’s our mission to beat all of your co-workers and family members or friends for a little bit of money or bragging rights. Here’s the breakdown of every NFL game.
Cardinals vs Seahawks: The Cardinals upset the Seahawks not too long ago the first go around. Since then, the Seahawks haven’t been the same. The offense has struggled. The defense can’t stop a nosebleed. But rarely do we see Russell Wilson struggle after multiple losses. Take the Seahawks -3.
Eagles vs Browns: The Browns are finding ways to win in poor weather. Nick Chubb is back and will face an Eagles team that just hasn’t looked good at all this season. I’d back the Browns' run game against the Eagles. Take the Browns -3.5.
Falcons vs Saints: The Saints will be without Drew Brees for this game, but the reality is, the Saints backup is a former starter who can sling it in Jameis Winston. Just as the Saints were getting healthy, they lost their quarterback, but the Saints were prepared at the start of the season and ultimately should get past a poor Falcons team with a really bad defense. Take the Saints -5.
Bengals vs Washington: It’s Joe Burrow against Chase Young. The first and second picks in the NFL Draft. I’m not sure if Burrow will be able to escape Washington’s pressure, but I’m sure that he’ll make enough plays to get the win against a Washington team that is down to their third quarterback in Alex Smith. Take the Bengals +1.5.
Lions vs Panthers: The Panthers will be without Christian McCaffrey again, but the offense has looked better with Teddy Bridgewater under center. The Lions are years away from contention. And while DeAndre Swift has given the Lions hope, they’re going to need more pieces to compete. Take the Panthers -1.5.
Steelers vs Jaguars: Gardner Minshew won’t be ready for Sunday and even if he was, this would be a tough game to come back and win. The Steelers proved how valuable their defense is against the Bengals last week, and you’ll see the same outcome against the Jaguars, who might struggle to score a point. Take the Steelers -10.
Titans vs Ravens: There might be a bit of overreaction when it comes to the Ravens loss to the Patriots. The Ravens had poor snaps and struggled in a tornado. The Ravens will get back on track against a Titans team that is starting to show their true colors. Take the Ravens -6.5.
Patriots vs Texans: The Patriots are looking to get back to .500 with their third straight win. Taking on the Texans won’t be such a hard task. The Texans have struggled on defense. And offensively, you’d just expect more out of Watson. The Patriots still believe they’ll be in the playoff hunt, and a win here solidifies that. Take the Patriots -2.
Dolphins vs Broncos: The Tagovailoa era is 3-0 and the Dolphins defense looks unstoppable. Meanwhile, you can expect Drew Lock to make countless mistakes and struggle against a very aggressive Dolphins defense. I don’t think Tagovailoa will have his best game of the season, but it’ll be good enough. Take the Dolphins -3.
Jets vs Chargers: Sam Darnold is expected to be back this season, but it’ll be Joe Flacco starting against the Chargers. Flacco had his moments against the Patriots and could put on a performance well enough to stay in the game against the Chargers. However, Justin Herbert has looked fantastic and continues to fall just short of wins. This time, he’ll achieve a win for the Chargers. Take the Chargers -8.5.
Packers vs Colts: The Packers defense hasn’t been impressive this season and mainly struggled against the Jaguars for most of the game. However, the Packers’ defense stepped up when it mattered the most and the Packers escaped the Jags. The Colts, on the other hand, have so much talent on both sides of the ball. As long as Rivers doesn’t make a mistake, the Colts will pull this game off thanks to their defense. Take the Colts -2.
Cowboys vs Vikings: The Vikings are now one game away from .500 and have all the momentum. The Vikings are finally putting Kirk Cousins in a position to succeed. He’s getting the ball out quick. And, of course, the Vikings run game has been superb. Take the Vikings -7.
Chiefs vs Raiders: This has revenge written all over it. The Raiders beat up on the Chiefs earlier this season and haven’t lost since. Meanwhile, the Raiders are 6-3 in their first season in Las Vegas. It’s going to be a great Sunday Night Football game. The spread just seems a bit high for a team that already lost to their opponent once already. Take the Raiders +7.
Rams vs Buccaneers: The Rams and Buccaneers have shown off some insane defense this season. Tom Brady’s last primetime game was embarrassing. The Rams defense tends to make offenses look really bad at times. Of course, the Buccaneers have the better offense, but the Rams are also capable of providing an offensive spark here and there. Take the Rams +4.
