It's a small slate in the NBA but there are a couple value plays hidden behind some of the less exciting games. The 76ers will take on the Knicks at home where they're 27-2 straight up this season. The Knicks and 76ers will be on the second game of a back-to-back. Does that favor the 76ers or the Knicks? The best team in the West will play the worst team in the West, at least for now. It was reported that Steph Curry would be returning to the Warriors lineup after this game against the Lakers. Will the Warriors have an answer for King James? Here are the early leans for Thursday's four-game NBA slate.

Knicks vs. 76ers 2/27/20 (-6.5, 224)

The Knicks will play the second game of a back-to-back against the 76ers. That's not good news for the Knicks. The 76ers have been almost unstoppable at home this season going 27-2 straight up. The Knicks are 9-20 on the road straight up. Ben Simmons will be out with a back injury but Joel Embiid has proved he can step up with the absence of Simmons. The Knicks have lost four straight games and even if they beat the Hornets, that's not saying much. Take the 76ers in a blowout win at home.

Trail Blazers vs. Pacers 2/27/20 (-10.5, 220)

Everyone expects the Pacers to be the team to watch in the second half of the season in the East. I absolutely agree. The Pacers have won three of their last four games and have a home win against Milwaukee while the Trail Blazers have dropped four of their last five games straight up. Portland is 10-20 on the road this season and the Pacers are heating up at home with a 20-10 record. I'll take my chances with the Pacers playing a complete game at home. Portland has dominated this series as of late but with a healthy Pacers team, times are changing.

Kings vs. Thunder 2/27/20 (-6.5, 222.5)

The Thunder escaped a scare from the Chicago Bulls on the road and have now won four straight games while the Kings are surprisingly stayed relevant in the second half of the season with three straight wins. The Kings have dominated the Grizzlies, Clippers and Warriors. Two of those three games were on the road. The Thunder are feasting off of bad teams but also beat a Denver team in the mix, holding the Nuggets to just 101 points. The Thunder have played tremendous defense at home as of late and will keep the Kings offense in check.

Key trends: OKC are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games overall.

Lakers vs. Warriors 2/27/20 (-14.5, 225.5)

Steph Curry is returning after this game. No LeBron vs. Steph match-up. This is a match-up between a Lakers team that has won six straight and a Warriors team that has lost their last seven games. The Lakers haven't had trouble with below-average opponents this season. The Lakers seem to be in stride, feeding off one another and playing their best basketball of the season currently. The Warriors best basketball of the season will come in March. Just not yet. Take the Lakers in this match-up.
