Luka Doncic Dallas Mavericks

Thursday's NBA slate features three games with two exciting matchups. In the first game of the TNT two-game slate, LeBron James will take on Kyrie Irving. Once teammates, this should be an interesting matchup between Lebron and Kyrie, who have switched teams since joining forces together in Cleveland. After that, TNT will feature Dame Lillard vs Luka Doncic. Lillard is fresh off his MLK performance, while Doncic is in the running for MVP. Here are the early leans.

Wizards @ Cavaliers (-1, 232.5)

I'm pretty sure Cleveland just gave up on the season. The Cavs are on a five-game losing streak and just lost by 20 to the Knicks at home. The Wizards aren't that much better than Cleveland, but those young guys compete a little harder than the Cavs are. The Cavs won't be able to stick with the high scoring, fast paced Wizards and their offense. Take the Wizards in this one.

Lakers @ Nets (TBD, TBD)

Kyrie and LeBron. Just like the good old days. Kyrie Irving is a mess with the media right now, while LeBron is the king of the media. Just like how it's always been. Big brother LeBron James will show Kyrie Irving why Kyrie should miss playing with LeBron James. Sure, Kyrie has Durant, but not yet at least. To be fair, Kyrie is injured with a hamstring injury, but it would be very suspect if he sat out this one.

Mavericks @ Trail Blazers (TBD, TBD)

If CJ McCullum is out with an ankle injury beyond Monday, Lillard might have to drop 75 to keep up with Luka Doncic. It'll be some battle between the two players, but let's just face reality. The Mavericks are much deeper than the Blazers, who have a ton of injuries and have not played up to potential this season. Take the Mavericks in the second game of the TNT double-header. It'll be a fun one, nonetheless.
