Thursday's college basketball slate features the West Coast and an American Athletic game. All four of these games could be potential blowouts by the favorites . Colorado, Arizona, Houston, and Gonzaga have a combined five losses at home. I'll say it again; four teams with just five losses at home combined. So, I teased my early leans, but for my analysis, you can keep reading. Here are the early leans for February 6 in college basketball.


California vs. Colorado 2/6/20 (-17, 128)

California has won two of their last three games and are now just one win away from getting back to .500. They'll have to take on a ranked Colorado team that has won three of their last four games and their previous two home games. Colorado, in their last two home games, defeated Washington, 76-62, and Washington State, 78-56. They're 10-2 at home and just .5 games from taking the top of the Pac 12. Colorado scores about nine more points per game and holds opponents to six points less. Colorado also wins the rebounding battle. This should be a Colorado win by double-digits.

Key trends: Buffaloes are 18-7 ATS in their last 25 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.

USC vs. Arizona 2/6/20 (-11.5, 138.5)

USC's two game winning streak came to a halt after losing to Colorado at home, 78-57. Up to that game, USC has stayed in games and have played tight and close throughout. They've won three of their last five and took a double overtime loss to Oregon on the road. Meanwhile, Arizona has won four of their last five games. Arizona played three road games before coming home. In their last two home games, Arizona defeated Colorado by 21 and Utah by 17. Arizona is 10-1 at home this season, while USC is 5-2 on the road. This will be a tight contest, but Arizona has the momentum coming into this game. They get a home game for the first time in two weeks, too.

Key trends: Wildcats are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 50 points in their previous game.

Early lean: Arizona, Under

Tulane vs. Houston 2/6/20 (-17, 135)

Tulane has lost five straight games, and they've all been by double digits. Now the Green Wave will have to travel to Houston and face a ranked conference opponent. Houston took a step backwards with a two-point loss at Cincinnati but is still one of the premier teams in the American Athletic with a 7-2 record. Houston might just hold Tulane to fewer than 50 points. Take Houston in this ugly matchup.

Key trends: Cougars are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss.

Early lean: Houston, Under

Loyola Marymount vs. Gonzaga 2/6/20 (TBD, TBD)

Gonzaga has … dare I say it … struggled in their last two games. Gonzaga beat Santa Clara by only 15 and San Francisco by four. Those games were both on the road. Home games are way different. Zaga is on a 15-game winning streak, while Loyola Marymount is on a three-game losing streak. If you're going to pick this game, there's no way you take Loyola Marymount in Zaga country. The Bulldogs are different when they're home. Another win by 30 is a real possibility against an eight-win Loyola Marymount team.

Key trends: Bulldogs are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.
