It's almost March which means every game matters even more. Wisconsin and Michigan are fighting for a higher seed in the Big Ten and NCAA Tournament. Both teams have a solid winning streak currently, but one team has the edge. The Pac-12 features a rivalry match-up between Oregon and Oregon State. Oregon State upset Oregon at home in February already. Can the Beavers repeat and get the regular season sweep? Here are the early leans for Thursday's college basketball action for February 27.

  Wisconsin vs. Michigan 2/27/20 (-6.5, 130.5)

This is an exciting battle in the Big Ten between two teams that are currently hot on solid winning streaks. Wisconsin has won four straight games but three of them have been on the road while Michigan's coming home on a five-game win streak. Michigan is averaging 75.4 points per game and that number is due to their home total. They've scored 89 and 77 in their last two home games. Michigan does everything better than Wisconsin from scoring, to field goal percentage to rebounds per game. Look for Michigan to take control of this contest at home.

 Key trends:  Wolverines are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.

Early lean: Wisconsin, Over

 San Diego vs. Gonzaga 2/27/20 (-26.5, 148)

San Diego is arguably the worst team in the WCC this season. They just took a loss at St. Mary's, 92-63 but took BYU to the buzzer. At home, Gonzaga should be able to light it up just like St. Mary's did but if Gonzaga comes out flat in the first half again, like the last few games, they might not cover. There needs to be some urgency with Gonzaga in this one. With teams at the dropping like flies, Gonzaga needs to make a statement in this one. Take Gonzaga in a big deficit win.

 Key trends:  Bulldogs are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up loss.

  Colorado vs. Caliifornia 2/27/20 (+9, 128)

California has lost four of their last five games and lost their last two home games to Arizona State and Arizona. Colorado is just 4-4 on the road but that record could be worse. The Buffaloes are holding opponents to around 62.5 points per game while California averages the same amount. Colorado averages 71.5 points per game and that's where Colorado will pull away. Colorado escapes the upset on the road late in the second half and wins against the spread.

 Key trends:  Buffaloes are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss.

Early lean: Colorado, Under

  Ohio State vs. Nebraska 2/27/20 (+9, 145)

Fade Nebraska! Every time. Fade Nebraska! Nebraska has lost 12 straight games and have lost their last three by double digits. Ohio State has won three of their last four games but have struggled on the road recently. Nebraska has struggled at home and on the road. The Cornhuskers are 5-9 at home this season. Ohio State should get the job done. They've been playing much better as of late and playing at Nebraska is no disadvantage.

 Key trends: Buckeyes are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400.

  Oregon State vs. Oregon 2/27/20 (-10.5, 139)

Here's a little fun rivalry game in the Pac-12. Oregon State will travel to Oregon after dropping three straight games. The last two were on the road but Oregon State did beat Oregon in early February, 63-53. Oregon State rallied at home to knock off Oregon but that won't happen again with Oregon at home this time around. Oregon scored 53 points in that game when they average 75.5 points per game. Look for the Oregon offense to get rolling at home and tie the season series at one a piece.

 Key trends:  Ducks are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 home games.
