2019 WWE SummerSlam Betting Odds and Oddsmaker Predictions

The sports gambling world is fully focused on Week 1 of the NFL Preseason, but Sunday is another big gambling event. No, I'm not talking about English Premier League that kicks off this weekend or Major League Baseball, but I'm talking about the big WWE pay-per-view event in Toronto. Yes, I'm talking about WWE SummerSlam that takes place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Sunday's WWE SummerSlam is pretty good. However, let's face it, some big roster names do not have matches Sunday night. Most of the big championship belts are up for grabs at the Scotiabank Arena, and as of Friday 10 matches are on the SummerSlam card. We could see some major spoilers and surprise outcomes on Sunday night and maybe one or two female performers that we haven't seen in awhile. Most offshore books will take a bit more money on this PPV event because it's the biggest PPV of the summer, and the WWE suits in the back are usually tight lipped when it comes to this SummerSlam card. Global sportsbook MyBookie has posted odds on nine matches this Sunday, and I can guarantee we will see at least one championship belt exchanged. Sunday's SummerSlam betting card has some head-scratching betting lines with great value, and I do see multiple plus-money winners.

My WWE betting predictions have been profitable. And with the last seven WWE pay-per-view events, I have gone an outstanding 40-14 and scored multiple plus-money winners. At WrestleMania we went 7-2 on the betting card with two plus-money winners. Our last 25 WWE PPV's I am 122-51 (71 percent), and if you are going to place some action on the SummerSlam card, do it very quickly. SummerSlam should also set up some outstanding matches for the next couple of PPV's, and we could see some long storylines and probably more underdog winners.

WWE RAW Singles Match

Goldberg -450

Dolph Ziggler +325

Can someone please tell me why Goldberg is in this match or even on the SummerSlam card? This match should not be a long match, and hurry up and bet Goldberg because this number will close around -600 or higher. Please, WWE, can you keep this match under 5 minutes?!

Prediction: Goldberg -450

WWE Smackdown Singles Match

Trish Stratus +210

Charlotte Flair -270

The two best female performers from different eras do battle Sunday night, and it's hard for me to believe that Charlotte loses this match. Trish Stratus is Canadian, so right now the bettors are jumping on the plus-money, but I don't see her stealing this match. Charlotte is at top of her game, and I don't see the upside of giving her the loss. This match will be a good one, but Charlotte wins by the figure eight in the center of the ring.

Prediction: Charlotte Flair -270

WWE RAW United States Championship

AJ Styles -180

Ricochet +160

Match of the night right here as AJ Styles, the United States champ, goes one-on-one with newcomer Ricochet. You figure the 'OC' will have something to do in this match, but I see Ricochet pulling off the big upset here and getting his championship belt back. Match of the night and possibly upset of the night.

Prediction: Ricochet +160

WWE Smackdown Singles Match

Finn Balor +1600

Bray Wyatt -3500

It's no secret that Finn Balor is taking a break after SummerSlam, so this is an easy prediction.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt -3500

WWE Smackdown Singles Match

Kevin Owens -400

Shane McMahon +300

Career on the line match takes place in Canada, and I love the mic work Kevin Owens has done to sell this match. To me it looks like they are building Owens as the next Stone Cold Steve Austin rebel in the company, and I like the move. However, let's face it, I would cheer for anybody to get Shane McMahon off my TV. Kevin Owens is another Canadian fighting in front of his home crowd, and this crowd will be loud. I see Owens winning this match by multiple stunners, and Owens keeps his career.

Prediction: Kevin Owens -400

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship

Bayley -160

Ember Moon +140

Boy, has this build-up for this match been a bore, and the only thing I see saving this match is maybe Sasha Banks coming out from hiding and showing up in Toronto. Is it time to put a belt on a new women wrestler? That's the biggest question here, and I do believe Ember Moon will be the new Smackdown Women's Championship.

Prediction: Ember Moon +140

WWE Smackdown Men's Championship

Kofi Kingston -260

Randy Orton +200

This match should be a good one. And if I don't see a RKO outta nowhere in this match, I will be pissed. Kofi Kingston in my eyes will be the Smackdown Champion all through 2019, and I see him losing the title at WrestleMania. However, Sunday night this brawl will have some great moments.

Prediction: Kofi Kingston -260

WWE RAW Women's Championship

Becky Lynch -260

Natalya +200

This match for the Women's RAW Championship should be electric, and this match is a 'Submission' match. Natalya is fighting in her backyard, and she will perform brilliantly, but at the end of the night I don't see the suits in the back taking away Becky Lynch's belt. Now if Ronda Rousey comes out and surprises us then we could see something that we will be talking about for the next month.

Prediction: Becky Lynch -260

WWE RAW Men's Championship

Brock Lesnar -280

Seth Rollins +220

Here we go! The WrestleMania 35 rematch will be brutal, and I do believe we will see some real blood in the ring. I really want to take the plus-money with Seth Rollins, but I see Brock Lesnar retaining the belt and maybe losing it to Braun Strowman down the road. I like Rollins as a performer, but as the WWE Champion the fans just don't give him the 'Love' that we have seen with other baby face champions. The betting public is all over the +220 with Rollins, but at the end of the night the 'Beast' retains.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar -280
