The July 4 holiday falls on a Thursday this year! Usually the Fourth of July provides me with some Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest wagers, fireworks at night, and a nice glass of scotch. However, this year is different.

The mega hit Stranger Things Season 3 appears on Netflix on Thursday, July 4, and I know what I'm doing throughout the holiday weekend! Fans can't wait to return to the Upside Down, and the last trailer has shown us the gate was not officially closed.

Stranger Things Season 3 is set in the summer of 1985, so look for tons of kids going to the mall, drinking 'New' Coke, talking about "Back to the Future", and I'm praying they mention how bad my Chicago Cubs were since they were coming off an NL East title. What I've heard about Season 3 is that it's really dark. And as Millie Bobby Brown aka Eleven has mentioned during media interviews, this season is 'Sad'.

When you first look at this prop, I'm sure 'Over' is your first thought. However, don't forget this prop states "episodes", and there are only eight episodes this season. I wish there were more episodes, but I will take as many as they provide us! I lean small towards the 'Under' on this prop just because you figure the first two episodes will be intro episodes.

How Many New "Numbers" be introduced in Season 3?

So, we all know about Eleven, and Season Two introduced us to Eight (known as Kali). It wouldn't shock me if another number will be introduced. When I was making this prop bet, I thought about setting the betting line to 1.5. However, as dark as the trailers are, we could see more numbers helping out in the fight. Betting the 'Under' seems like the 'Best Bet', but laying -200 might be rough.

Will Season 4 Be the Last Season?

I wish I could bet the 'No' just because this show is great TV, but it wouldn't shock me to see Season 4 be the last season. But at the same time, if the ratings continue to go through the roof, why not make another season and bring in new kids to keep the series alive!
