In Thursday's four-game slate, we have two teams that absolutely stink, a big Eastern Conference matchup, and a Mexico City special. I won't spend much time on the Knicks and Cavs. Take the favorite and watch the money pile in. The 76ers and Celtics rivalry will get heated up once again as two of the top Eastern Conference teams matchup for what looks to be a thriller. But the game I can't wait to watch is the Mavericks and Pistons game in Mexico City . I have a really good feeling that the Mavericks will be scoring quite a few points for the fans in Mexico City.

76ers @ Celtics (-2, 212.5)

The 76ers will take on the Celtics in a highly anticipated Eastern Conference matchup. Al Horford has switched teams from the Celtics to the 76ers. There's a lot of bad blood in this one. With that, I expect a close game between the two teams. Hard defense and good shooting will win this game. Currently, the 76ers are shooting and rebounding just a little bit better than the Celtics. The 76ers are 8-2 in their last 10 while the Celtics are 7-3 in their last ten. This is an exciting matchup, but in a close game, I'll take the points with the 76ers.

Cavaliers @ Spurs (TBD, TBD)

The Cavs absolutely stink. The Cavs took two ugly losses back-to-back from the 76ers and Celtics on the road. This game will be the second of a back-to-back after playing the Rockets at home. The Cavs will then travel to San Antonio for the second game. With no talent and no sleep, it's an easy call to go with the Spurs, who won an emotional game against the Kings in overtime on Friday. The line isn't out yet, but I don't mind taking the Spurs even as double-digit favorites.

Key trends: The Cavs are 8-12-2 (40%) as an underdog against the spread this season.

Mavericks @ Pistons (-4, 220.5)

We're going to Mexico City for this one! The Mavericks can score at will while led by Luka Doncic. He's averaging 30 points, 9.8 rebounds along with 9.2 assists per game. He can't be stopped. The Pistons allow 108 points per game, while the Mavericks score 118 points a game. The Mavericks also rebound better than the Pistons, who have Andre Drummond on the squad. Give me the Mavericks in the Mexico City Game! The Mavs will give the fans what they want to see: points.

Trail Blazers @ Nuggets (TBD, TBD)

Portland is coming off an absolute dominant win against the Knicks. But that's not saying much. Every team has been dominant against the Knicks. The Blazers will now play real competition against the Nuggets, who are finally home from the east coast road trip. The Nuggets were 1-3 on the east coast road trip. It did not treat them well, but when the Nuggets come home, they'll be rejuvenated and ready to compete against the sub-par Blazers.

Key trends: Trail Blazers are 4-4 (50%) as an away underdog against the spread this season.
