Free NBA Picks Saturday, November 30 and Opening Line Report

On Saturday we've got a four-game slate, with most teams playing a back-to-back. It's hard to evaluate these the day before because of that. However, some trends are pointing us in the right direction. The Hornets are 4-0 in the second game of a back-to-back this season. Will we lock them in to cover the spread with 14.5 points? The four game early leans are down below!

Nuggets @ Kings (+4.0, 205.5)

The Nuggets are coming off a 117-104 victory over the Wizards. They're on a six-game winning streak, and they'll now head over to Sacramento to play the Kings on the road . The Kings are 7-10 this year after taking a loss on Wednesday against the 76ers on the road. The Kings have already lost to the Nuggets earlier in the year. The Nuggets are playing extremely well. If they're just losing four points on the spread, it would be hard not to take the Nuggets.

Key trends: The Nuggets are 3-1-1 (75%) vs teams that win 45-55 percent of games against the spread this season.

Early lean: Nuggets, Over

Pacers @ 76ers (TBD, TBD)

Joel Embiid scored 33 points against the Kings after previously scoring zero points against the Raptors. He'll produce regularly after that abysmal performance against the Raptors. There's absolutely nothing to worry about. The 76ers are now 12-6 on the year, but they'll take on the Knicks after this was written. (Likely 13-6… even though I might've jinxed it now.) They'll have to play back-to-back games. This one will be their second of the back-to-back . I never like taking teams on back-to-backs. However, the Pacers will also get an easy game the night before and play a back-to-back as well. Neither team will have to expand much energy in their first game, but I like the 76ers in this one. The home crowd will give them energy. There's no line for this one until tomorrow.

Key trends: The 76ers are 6-8 (42.9%) as a favorite this season against the spread.

Early lean: 76ers, Under

Hawks @ Rockets (-13.5, 238.5)

Another high-scoring affair. You can tell by the over/under set at 238.5. The Hawks are struggling to find much consistency. They're a young squad with a lot of talent, but they just can't seem to close games. However, Atlanta has lost their last three games by less than 14 points. Houston can't exactly defend well. I'll take the points with the Hawks .

Key trends: The Hawks are 6-2 (75%) vs teams that win over 55 percent of games against the spread this season.

Early lean: Hawks, Over

Hornets @ Bucks (-14.5, 228.5)

Milwaukee is 15-3 on the year but also 3-1 against teams that are 45-55 percent against the spread this season. They've done well at home and covered against lower-tiered teams. This NBA spread is outrageous, though. The Bucks will need to win this game by 15 points. This isn't college basketball. I can never take any team to win by 15 points. The Hornets will be coming off a back-to-back against the Pistons (which is turning into a rivalry this year). But I still believe they'll be able to do enough to hold on to the spread.

Key trends: The Hornets are 4-0 (100%) against the spread in the second game of a back-to-back.
