2018 WWE Royal Rumble Odds and Expert Betting Picks
The Royal Rumble is this Sunday night, and if you are like me and have zero interest in watching the NFL Pro Bowl then jump on the WWE Network and watch this mega WWE PPV event. Sunday night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia will be one of the biggest WWE cross-over PPV events of 2018, and the wrestling stars attending the Royal Rumble will be eye popping.
This Sunday's Royal Rumble has some big names, and I guarantee we will see something shocking. Not only will we see the men's 30-Man Royal Rumble match on Sunday, but for the first time we will see an all-woman Royal Rumble match, and some of the ladies that will be running into the ring will be historic. Six matches are on the PPV card, and this card will see title switches, unbelievable WWE stars, back stabbing, and, of course, the Royal Rumble will produce some WrestleMania mega storylines. Most offshore books will take a bit more money on this PPV event because it's the biggest PPV of the winter, and the WWE suits in the back are usually tight lipped when it comes to this Royal Rumble card.
My WWE betting predictions have been profitable, and at Survivor Series we went a perfect 6-0 and scored, not one, but two plus-money winners. In my last 18 WWE PPVs I am 85-30 (74 percent), and if you are going to place some cash on these WWE matches then I highly recommend betting them early because these numbers move quickly because of low limits. Again, Royal Rumble is a bigger event, so numbers might not move quickly like other smaller PPVs. Royal Rumble should also set up some outstanding matches for the next couple of PPVs, and we could see some long storylines, and some surprise guests/wrestlers will likely pop up in the Wells Fargo Center to make things very interesting Sunday night.
WWE Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar -250
Braun Strowman +165
Kane 10-1
I'll bet that the WWE Universal Championship match between the champ Brock Lesnar vs. Bruan Strowman and Kane will probably be the biggest disappointment of the night. I'm still shocked that Kane is in this match, and throughout my research this could be Kane's 100th pay-per-view loss; I wish that was a prop bet for this match. Braun Strowman will dominate this match from the beginning then Kane will mess up Strowman's flow and give Brock Lesnar the momentum to walk away the WWE Universal Champ Sunday night. Lesnar's contract is up after WrestleMania, and if he losses the belt it will not be in Philly this Sunday night but in early April at WrestleMania in New Orleans. Prediction: Brock Lesnar -250
WWE Championship
AJ Styles -225
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn +165
The feud between AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Shane McMahon, and
Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan has been brilliantly written, and the storyline
has been outstanding to watch. If AJ Styles losses this match then Owens
and Zayn will be co-champions, and I just don't see how that will play out.
I really want to say that Shane McMahon or Daniel Bryan will influence the
outcome -- and we could see that play out at WrestleMania -- but at the end
of the match I see the 'Phenomenal One' AJ Styles continue to be the WWE
Champion. Prediction: AJ Styles -225
Men's Royal Rumble
Shinsuke Nakamura +100
Roman Reigns +250
Dolph Ziggler +450

Sami Zayn 20-1
Kevin Owens 20-1
Batista 20-1
Bobby Roode 20-1
Rusev 40-1

The 30-man Royal Rumble Match is extremely hyped due to all the standout WWE superstars involved this time around, but at the same time I do believe the winner will be a no brainier. Last year Randy Orton won at 2-1, and this year again I see one of the top 3 favorites being the last WWE wrestler in the ring. Early money came in on Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan, and we all know he wants to wrestle again. But if we don't see him in the ring competing at Mania in April he walks, so keep an eye out on Bryan at 4-1. Normally I give out 3 or 4 possible Rumble winners, but this year it's either WWE RAW superstar Roman Reigns or WWE Smackdown superstar Shinsuke Nakamura. Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura +100, and he will win the belt at WrestleMania.
Women's Royal Rumble
Asuka +140
Ronda Rousey 2-1
Becky Lynch 6-1
Nia Jax 8-1
Nikki Bella 10-1
Charlotte Flair 14-1
Sasha Banks 14-1
Brie Bella 16-1
Bayley 16-1
Naomi 18-1
Alexa Bliss 20-1
Stephanie McMahon 20-1
AJ Lee 25-1
Beth Phoenix 25-1
Trish Stratus 25-1
Lita 25-1
Natalya 25-1
Mickie James 33-1
Maria Menounos 33-1
Lana 33-1
Ruby Riott 33-1
Tamina 33-1
Kairi Sane 33-1
Stacy Keibler 33-1
Michelle McCool 33-1
Peyton Royce 33-1
Carmella 33-1
Nikki Cross 33-1
Ember Moon 33-1
Billie Kay 33-1
Alicia Fox 40-1
Torrie Wilson 50-1
For the first time in WWE history 2018 will go down in the record book for having the first all-woman Royal Rumble. Not only will this be historic, but we get to see former UFC women's champ Ronda Rousey in a WWE ring, hopefully wrestling, kicking butt, and taking names!! Just like the Men's Royal Rumble, I see only two female wrestlers winning this Rumble, and its either Asuka or Rousey. I really want to throw some money down on Nia Jax at 8-1, but again I only see to two top favorites winning this Rumble. Prediction: At first I thought Asuka +140 would continue to dominate the women's ring, but it wouldn't shock me to see Ronda Rousey being one of the last entrants in the Rumble, and this weekend she wins the Rumble and faces either Charlotte (Smackdown) or Alexa Bliss/Asuka (RAW). Prediction: Ronda Rousey 2-1
