The Buckeyes escaped a close call this past Saturday on the road against Maryland, so can they rally to take down the rival Wolverines in the friendly confines of Ohio Stadium?

RE: I expected Notre Dame to roll over Syracuse last Saturday, and I fully expect Michigan to easily cover against the Buckeyes in this game. Each of these teams remains under the gun for style points to ensure it holds onto a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Doc's: This is one of the best weekends of the year in college football given all the rivalry matchups on the Week 13 schedule. What is your favorite rivalry on the board?

RE: At the top of my list would be the Pac-12 showdown between the Washington Huskies and the Washington State Cougars on Friday night. If the Cougars cover as t hree-point home favorites , they would finish the regular season at 11-1 both straight-up and against the spread.

Doc's: You have been releasing winning picks for football 'north of the boarder' all season long in the CFL. Which team do you have raising the Grey Cup in this Sunday's CFL Championship Game; Ottawa or Calgary?

RE: I have Calgary avenging losses in the last two Grey Cup title games with a victory this Sunday. I was really impressed with the defensive effort against Winnipeg in Sunday's West Division Final by holding the CFL's highest scoring team to just 14 points.

Doc's: In a pay-per view betting event, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson tee off against one another this Friday in a head-to-head round of golf. Which of these golfing legends do you have winning this match?

RE: The fact that this is a pay-per-view event has knocked it completely off my betting radar. I am not even sure if I would watch Tiger and Phil play one another even if it was for free. Instead, I am really looking forward to the Maui Invitational Tournament for men's college basketball highlighted by No. 1 Duke as well as some great matchups in the NHL on Friday and Saturday's schedule.
