Facebook Stock Betting Props: Odds and Expert Predictions

Remember when Facebook was used only for reaching out to old high school friends and family members who live out of state? Now Facebook has been caught spying on us, more than once and they're recovering from one scandal to another. So, why not gamble on the billion dollar company!

Last month Facebook lost more than $100 billion in market capital after they missed expectations on revenue, and, wow, what a shock, showing a slowing user growth. A couple of days before July ended Facebook market capital was around $630 billion, but at the end of trading Thursday, July 26 it was worth $510 billion after market close and an astonishing 170 million shares changed hands. That Thursday was 'Black Thursday' for Facebook because it was the largest single-session decline since the company went public in 2012.

Why am I writing about Facebook and the stock prices right now? Online sports book MyBookie has posted four Facebook betting propositions because of Facebook's recent struggles, and one of them provides a great chance to profit. The social media giant stock had recovered from a horrific decline earlier in 2018, and that was because of the Cambridge Analytica scandal. However, Facebook still has declining revenue and user growth even with my mother-in-law still using it for all her news!

As of Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, Facebook stock closed at $174.64, and it's been pretty steady around $173 or higher. But seeing it like we saw years ago, I just don't see it happening. Some experts are telling their clients that this is a good time to buy Facebook stock, and I can see why.
