NFL Betting Odds: Which QB Will Sign First?

Earlier this week we wrote about two ageless running backs going toe-to-toe on the gridiron with some betting propositions, and today we continue to write about guys who just want to play football. NFL Preseason kicked off with the Hall of Fame Game, and NFL practices are at full strength, and we have already seen one team have some devastating news regarding their starting QB.

Two NFL teams quickly made the list of squads in need of a quarterback as the Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco hurt his back weightlifting and Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill reinjured his left knee. For Baltimore and Flacco, any time you have a back issue it could flare up at any time, so this injury could be a seasonal problem. And for Tannehill, he could be out for the year if he decides to have surgery.

Offshore sports book BetOnline quickly posted an NFL betting proposition focusing on these two NFL teams possibly looking for a quarterback. Since the NFL Season is just around the corner and with next week starting NFL Preseason Week 1, you figure both teams will be looking for a veteran QB. Below are five quarterback names you will be hearing over the weekend. Which one of these QBs will answer the phone and pad up? With two teams in desperate need of a QB, it wouldn't shock me to see one of these quarterbacks sign an NFL contract before preseason football is going full strength.

My prediction on 'Which quarterback signs an NFL Contract First' is not the top two favorites, but it's an old gunslinger. I'm saying take Jay Cutler +350, and Cutler will be the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. I still think Colin Kaepernick will sign a contract sometime this month but Cutler will sign first, and I love getting the +350.
