2016 Season Win Total Picks NCAA Football: 'Over'

Craig Bohl's squad took a big step back in 2015, winning just two games and posting their most losses in over 10 years. But teams typically show improvement in a coach's third season at the helm. And for the sake of Bohl's job security, he better hope the Cowboys at least find a way to be competitive this fall.

Wyoming was outscored by an average of 15 points per game last year. They were outscored by 11.7 points the prior season and haven't shown a positive net scoring differential in any season this decade. But hey, the Cowboys have 17 starters back, so they have to accidentally be better this year, right?

The offense revolves around running back Brian Hill and his nearly 1,800 yards of offense last year. In order for Hill to maintain that stellar production he will need some help from a quarterback - any quarterback.

The Cowboys are going to be a lot better this year. But that might not show up in their win-loss record because of a rough schedule. Their only definite win is against UC-Davis. They do have winnable games against Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan. But they face their weakest foes on the road, negating Wyoming's home altitude advantage.

I hate to say it, but Bohl likely isn't going to get to four - wins or seasons - with Wyoming.
