Sunday night in Orlando at the Amway Center is the 2016 Royal Rumble, and what an event it will be! The first WWE PPV of the year will have excitement and outstanding betting opportunities, and I can guarantee we will see some unbelievable surprises.
Some big WWE stars won't be at this PPV because of injuries, but I see the new generation and have some inside scoop on surprises which will make this Royal Rumble a great tune up before WrestleMania. Sunday's card has six matches, including the 30-man Royal Rumble Match with all WWE belts on the line. With all belts on the line, we will see someone new be crowned the champion. I smell a plus-money underdog cashing Sunday night in Orlando. Our friends over a Paddypower were one of the first to post odds on these Royal Rumble matches, and as of late afternoon Thursday we have already seen some shocking line movement.
My WWE betting predictions have been profitable, and at Survivor Series we went 5-1 and in our last two WWE pay-per-views we have gone 13-1. In my last 12 WWE PPV's I am 59-18 (76%), and if you are going to place some cash on these WWE matches I highly recommend betting them early because these numbers move quickly because of low limits.
Here are the odds and my betting predictions - Odds Provided by Paddypower
Divas Championship Match
Charlotte -160
Becky Lynch +120
Here is this match in a nutshell! Daddy Ric Flair cheats and daughter Charlotte wins. Becky Lynch has so much momentum right now, and I love the storyline
getting a big boost after Monday Night Raw. Becky Lynch will get her chance to run with the belt, but not this Sunday and I see Charlotte maybe feuding
with a Bella for WrestleMania.
Tag Team Championship Match
The New Day -170
The Usos +130
The high-flying Usos are going to have to win the belts back at some point, but I don't think it happens Sunday night at Royal Rumble. The New Day is still
a crowd favorite, and if we see a new Tag Team Champion I see the belts being exchanged at WrestleMania. As of right now with the Tag Team division being
so soft I see no reason for the New Day to lose Sunday night. Winner and my prediction are the champs, the New Day.
US Championship Match
Alberto Del Rio -500
Kalisto +300
You would think this is a pretty easy prediction, but this was a rough one! This match in my eyes can go either way, but I believe Del Rio retains his belt
and the League of Nations still has a guy with a championship belt. No matter how this match ends or goes, Kalisto comes out looking like the winner no
matter what. Again, winner in this match will be the champ Alberto Del Rio.
Intercontinental Champion Match
Kevin Owens +125
Dean Ambrose -175
The money has been pouring in on the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, which doesn't surprise me, but I have a different story in this match. Both men can lose this match and still be relevant in the next couple of months and still be a big deal at WrestleMania. This match will be the best match of the night, and I see big pushes from both in 2016, and Sunday in Orlando I see Kevin Owens getting his belt back and we cash a plus-money ticket.

There are dozens of ways the Royal Rumble could end, and I could be completely shocked. All I want in this 30-man Royal Rumble match is something to shock and awe me. So many big stars are out because of injury and so many rumors floating around as surprise entries that this match could be mind-blowing. I'm going to give you my 'Final-Four' wrestlers in this match, and hopefully one of them is the last man standing. I see Triple H, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Bray Wyatt the last four, and I'm picking Brock Lesnar winning the Royal Rumble. I know it's a boring pick and I would love to see either Daniel Bryan, A.J. Styles, Kevin Owens, and even Dean Ambrose win, but the way the injury bug has hit the WWE it is probably safe to have Brock Lesnar win Sunday night in Orlando.
