2016 WWE Extreme Rules Odds and Expert Betting Predictions

If you are wondering why I didn't do a preview for WWE Payback (May 1) a couple of weeks ago, it's because I knew another PPV was only three weeks away! WWE PPV Extreme Rules is live this Sunday from the Prudential Center in Newark, and this PPV will be so much better than the last event. We should see some great matches this Sunday, and I'm hoping to see some feuds ending and some new storylines being introduced. Some major WWE stars are returning soon from injuries, and we could see some surprise visits this Sunday in New Jersey. I'm not telling who, but I do have some spoilers up my sleeve.

Our friends over at MyBookie were one of the first to post odds for this big WWE PPV event, and I have to say this Extreme Rules betting card could have some big surprises with big upsets. If you are going to place some cash on these matches, I highly recommend betting them early because these numbers move quickly because of low limits.

My WWE betting predictions have been profitable, but at WrestleMania we took a step backwards, going 2-5. However, in the last four WWE PPVs I have gone 18-8. In my last 14 WWE PPVs I am 64-25 (72 percent), and again if you are going to place some action on the Extreme Rules card this Sunday I highly recommend betting them early because these moneylines move in a blink of an eye.

WWE Women's Championship
Charlotte -840

Natalya +480

I'm still confused on what happened in Chicago between Charlotte and Natalya at WWE PPV Payback, but whatever did happen, what a poor sales job. I believe Natalya has no chance in winning this match, but I'm very pleased that this match is a submission match because both ladies have great submission techniques. Ric Flair is not allowed outside the ring in this match, but that doesn't matter because Charlotte in the end wins this match with the 'Figure Eight' submission, and we should see a new feud for Charlotte. Hopefully Sasha Banks! Predictions: Easily Charlotte and no betting value with this high number.

Dean Ambrose -260

Chris Jericho +180

Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho put on a great match last month at Payback, and I was hoping that feud ended last month. I guess not, though. Ambrose at -260 is actually a great price because I don't see Jericho winning this match because Ambrose is part of the future, and you would have to think bigger matches should be coming his way after this feud. Predictions: Ambrose is one crazy match, and I see this match going all over the Arena. Grab the -260 quickly because this number moves quickly.

WWE Tag Team Championship

The New Day -380

The Vaudevillains +260

It's no secret that Vince McMahon is no fan of the gimmick of the Vaudevillains, and I heard this match was supposed to be between the New Day vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Amore was injuried at WWE Payback, and when he is healthy we should see some outstanding mic work from both tag teams. In this match I'm completely blown away that the New Day is not -700 or higher as I see them contining to retain the tag belts until maybe SummerSlam. The New Day will carry this match, and I see this one ending quickly. Easy prediction here as the New Day wins and this number will close around -700 or higher.

WWE United States Championship

Kalisto +190

Rusev -270

Talk about a no-brainer winner in this match! Kalisto is going nowhere as champion, and Rusev has a renewed push in the WWE (I guess out of the dog house) -- and most important is that Lana is back on TV. John Cena is returning on Memorial Day, so look for another Rusev vs. Cena feud and if Cena wins the United States belt I hope they do the open challenge match on RAW again. Prediction again is a no-brainer as Rusev wins easily, and getting him under -300 seems like a steal.

WWE Intercontinental Championship

Cesaro +100

The Miz +125

Kevin Owens +800

Sami Zayn 10-1

This Fatal 4-Way match is for the WWE Intercontinental Championship belt, and this match is the one I'm excited for. There's so many different ways the WWE can end this match and have outstanding feuds, but of course only one person can walk away with the belt. My heart wants Owens to win, but I see him maybe being pushed for the Heavyweight belt sometime this year. The crowd really wants Cesaro to win, but I'm picking the Miz to retain his belt and lose it on a one-on-one match at a later PPV venue. My prediction is The Miz at a nice plus-money price, and it wouldn't shock me to see this number climb up.

WWE Heavyweight Championship

Roman Reigns -1050

AJ Styles +550

With all the hatred over Reigns, this match should be very entertaining. Reigns and AJ Styles have been putting on one hell of a feud over the past month, and again this last match Sunday night will be another hell of dogfight. Their match at WWE Payback was phenomenal, and that only makes the expectations for this match Sunday through the roof. Someone is going to interfere in this match, and boy do I hope the Bullet Club comes out but at the end of the match. I see Reigns retaining his belt by a hitting everybody in the ring with a Superman punch. Prediction is Reigns wins, but I'm hoping the Bullet Club or, heck, even Finn Balor coming out to end the show with a huge POP!
