If you haven't started tailing the Basic Strategy Teaser, I suggest you do so now because this system is on fire. After firing a 3-0 Week 5, the BST produced another unblemished record of 3-0 in Week 6. That brings the system's record to a mind blowing 11-1 (12-2 if you count the "extra options" I mentioned last week, but didn't play).
Last week's top plays were never in doubt of losing. The Arizona Cardinals took care of a hapless Jets team, who quite frankly look lost without their top receiver, Eric Decker, in the lineup. Hats off to the Cards for coming out strong in a must-win home game and getting the job done. With regards to the Carolina-New Orleans game, I believe I said "Take as many points as you can in this high-scoring shootout." Both teams delivered the shootout part, and thankfully enough, Saints' kicker Wil Lutz was able to nail a 52-yard field goal for the win. And lastly, the New England Patriots got the job done at home against Cincinnati like I knew they would. Led by Tom Brady's 376 passing yards and Rob Gronkowski's 162 yards receiving, the Bengals never really had a chance despite being up 14-10 early in the third quarter.
Week 7 of the NFL season gets underway Sunday morning and 9:30a.m. EST in London as the New York Giants take on the Los Angeles Rams. The Giants will be looking to maintain some momentum after their big win last week against the Baltimore Ravens. Odell Beckham Jr. had himself a game, and he figures to be in for another big game against a middling Rams' defense. Despite the intrigue of playing at Twickenham Stadium for the first time, there are better and far more important games on the schedule. Minnesota (5-0) travels to Philadelphia for a date with the Eagles - which will mark Sam Bradford's return to Philly. Brock Osweiler and his Houston Texans return to Denver to take on the Broncos in what is a huge game for both teams in the standings. And on Sunday Night Football, the Seattle Seahawks have a showdown with the Arizona Cardinals in a huge NFC West game. Seattle is on a three-game winning streak, while Arizona has won two on the trot.
In this article I will be giving you teams that I think will be the most attractive when teasing the spread either up or down six points. This is called the "Basic Strategy Teaser". A basic strategy teaser is a two-team, six-point teaser that uses the power of NFL key numbers, which are the most common margins of victory, to move certain spreads around the three- and seven-point mark.
Week 7 has five NFL games that qualify for the BST, but I only like two of these games to cash the ticket. I'll give you my top two plays for this week, and I guarantee they will come through for you.

Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins
Six-Point Teaser: Dolphins +8.5
The Bills are on a four-game winning streak right now and may just be the hottest team in the league (I can't believe I just wrote that). They have beaten
the Cardinals, Patriots, Rams and 49ers. Not a bad list of teams to have beaten, but I always feel the Bills are one bad break away from going on a huge
losing streak and finishing 8-8 or 7-9. A big reason why the Bills have won four consecutive games is the play of LeSean McCoy. McCoy has racked up 470
rushing yards and five touchdowns over the last four games. Unfortunately for Bills' fans, he is expected to miss this week's game with a hamstring injury
(this is the unlucky break I'm talking about). I'm not sure if the Bills offense can overcome his absence, with Mike Gillislee taking over as the featured
back and Tyrod Taylor throwing the ball 40 times to a group of no-name receivers.
Prognosis:
While nobody is rushing to bet on the Miami Dolphins, I believe last week's win over the Steelers was a bit more than just a fluke. They were able to
outgain the Steelers high-powered offense 474-297 while racking up 222 yards on the ground. Running back Jay Ajayi had a breakout game and finished with
204 yards rushing. They may have finally found a gameplan that caters to Ryan Tannehill's strengths. Buffalo is 2-4-1 ATS in its last seven road games.
This is going to be a close division game.
Baltimore Ravens @ New York Jets
Spread: Ravens +2.5
Six-Point Teaser: Ravens +8.5
How can anyone in their right mind bet on the New York Jets right now? They have looked abysmal, terrible, awful and any other synonym you can think of.
They announced this past week that they will be benching Ryan Fitzpatrick and starting Geno Smith. That is definitely not an upgrade at quarterback. At
this point in the season, sitting at 1-5, they should put Bryce Petty or Christian Hackenberg under center and let them develop for next year. Besides the
terrible QB play the Jets have been getting, the schedule makers haven't helped them out, either. This is the Jets first home game since Oct. 2 and it is
sandwiched between a pair of back-to-back road games. This year's version of the Jets is not equipped to handle such a rigorous schedule.
Prognosis:
The Ravens should have won last week's game against the Giants. It took a career game from Beckham Jr. (222 yards receiving) to sink the Ravens with just
over a minute left. The offense played well and Joe Flacco was finally able to rely on a running back, which helped open up the passing game. The Ravens
are currently in second place in the AFC North. And with the injury news out of Pittsburgh, the Ravens should like their chances to catch the Steelers for
the top spot. It's games like these, against deflated teams like the Jets, that teams must win if they have any hope of getting into a playoff position.
