WWE PPV WrestleMania is live this Sunday from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and WrestleMania is the Super Bowl of wrestling entertainment. WrestleMania always brings out the entertainment stars, and this year ESPN Sports Center will be live at WrestleMania. We should see some great matches this Sunday, and I'm hoping we see more mind-blowing upsets like the last couple of years with Seth Rollins winning and two years ago with Brock Lesnar beating Undertaker.
Our friends over at MyBookie were one of the first to post odds for this big WWE WrestleMania PPV event, and I have to say this WrestleMania betting card could have some big surprises. If you are going to place some cash on these WWE WrestleMania matches, I highly recommend betting them early because these numbers move quickly because of low limits.
It still saddens me that some of the biggest WWE stars will be missing from WrestleMania like Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Nikki Bella, and the biggest WWE star, John Cena. But with someone's misfortune could be someone else's big night, and Sunday night I see the new generation of WWE wrestlers putting on a great show. Sunday's WrestleMania card has eight betting matches, including the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. With all championship belts on the line, we will see someone new be crowned the champion. It wouldn't shock me to see a plus-money underdog cash Sunday night.
My WWE betting predictions have been profitable, and at the Royal Rumble we went 3-2 and in our last three WWE pay-per-views we have gone 16-3. In my last 13 WWE PPV's I am 62-20 (76%), and again if you are going to place some action on the WrestleMania card this Sunday I highly recommend betting them early because these moneylines move in a blink of an eye.
Here are the odds and my betting predictions - Odds Provided by MyBookie
WWE Tag Team Championship
League of Nations -175
The New Day +125
I don't understand how this became a handicap match and I have no clue why the suits in the back have these two groups feuding. I'm shocked they have the
League of Nations as favorite here as I still see them being keyed if they win or lose. If you take away the belts from The New Day then all you have is a
funny tag team. I'm taking the champs at plus money in this Tag Team Championship match. The New Day will get a huge pop from the crowd. Look for a special
surprise in this match to even up the wrestlers, and I'm predicting either Cena or The Rock.
Prediction: The New Day +125 and still the champs
WWE United States Championship
Kalisto -150
Ryback +110
If you have read my WWE Wrestling predictions in the past you know I'm not a fan of Ryback and I'm hoping they do not give him another belt run. This match
is between a tiny high-flying wrestler against a powerful big guy, and I'm taking the tiny wrestler. If they are trying to give Ryback a push why would
they have him in this WrestleMania match. Confused on this matchup and I do see Kalisto losing the belt soon but not Sunday night against a boring 'Feed Me
More' Ryback.
Prediction: Kalisto -150
WWE Divas Championship
Sasha Banks -400
Charlotte +110
Becky Lynch +600
I'm usually not excited to watch a Divas match, but Sunday night in this three-way match for the title should be one of the best matches on the card. It
makes sense for this match to be taking place, but I'm actually surprised Lynch is still in the mix. The WWE universe wants Sasha Banks to win the belt,
and she is the big favorite. I see her pinning Lynch. Why Lynch? Because I see Ric Flair causing Charlotte the match, and we could see a father-daughter
incident.
Prediction: Sasha Banks -400
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Kevin Owens -500
Sami Zayn +200
DolphZiggler 10-1
The Miz 20-1
Sin Cara 33-1
Stardust 25-1
Zack Ryder 50-1
I guess we should just plan on seeing the Intercontinental Title match every year at WrestleMania, and if that is the case I'm happy. The only thing I'm
not happy about is I really want to see Kevin Owens go one-on-one with Sami Zayn. I have no clue why Stardust, Zack Ryder, and Sin Cara are in this match,
but I guess with other major stars out with injuries that those three got the call. I know Owens is the heavy favorite here, but I smell an upset. Kevin
Owens is an outstanding heel, and his mic skills are on point. With him losing here I see him battling Zayn for a couple of months.
Prediction: Sami Zayn +200 pins Dolph Ziggler (that's right, not Owens)
WrestleMania Match
Brock Lesnar -110
Dean Ambrose -130
Dean Ambrose is no question one of the small handful of wrestlers that can look good losing a match. Still, he needs to win a big match and Sunday night we could see that happen. It wouldn't shock me to see interference in this match, and I see the Wyatt family at some point coming out. For an oddsmaker you can guarantee you are going to get great two-way action in this match, and getting Brock Lesnar at -110 looks like a steal. I'm still shocked that we have two fan favorites going Sunday in this match, and with that I see Ambrose winning because of outside interference. This match was a tough one to pick as both wrestlers could have their hand raised at the end.
Prediction: Dean Ambrose -130 wins and he can thank the Wyatt Family for the win.
WrestleMania Match
The Undertaker -125
Shane McMahon -115
Who would of thought last year after Wrestlemania that in Jerry's World Dallas Texas we would see The Undertaker versus Shane McMahon. The Undertaker is
the King of WrestleMania, having lost only once in 23 WrestleMania matches, and of course we can all blame Lesnar for that one loss. We should see some
crazy things happening in this match, and I see McMahon winning with some help. Who that help is will be the million-dollar question of the week. McMahon
was plus money when this number opened, but that number vanished quickly. Getting Shane McMahon at -115 still has outstanding value.
Prediction: Shane McMahon -115 wins with outside help
Heavyweight Championship
Triple H +450
Roman Reigns -750
This Heavyweight Championship match will have the shock and awe effect and we will see some big surprises. WWE has spent the last couple of years trying to
get the WWE Universe behind Roman Reigns, and so far this has failed unless he turns heel. I'm hoping Reigns turns heel and starts working for 'The
Authority' and we see him feuding with Dean Ambrose or we see Reigns beat up his cousin the Rock. Somebody in the back will come out in this match, and the
possibilities are endless in this match. I wish I could say that Triple H at +450 is my prediction, but I can't because I feel like a big character change
will happen in this match Sunday night.
Prediction: Roman Reigns -750 and we could see the 'Evil Roman Empire' start.
