Can the state of Ohio handle another big sporting event? O-H-I-O has the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, Johnny Football is getting ready for Cleveland Browns football, and the defending college football champs, the Ohio State Buckeyes, are getting ready to defend their title. Now on Sunday Ohio gets the 2015 Money in the Bank WWE PPV, and one wrestler will get a guaranteed contract for all the WWE glory.
After another surprisingly entertaining but not profitable Elimination Chamber PPV two weeks ago, this PPV card should create some great matches and start
some good rumors on the big PPV event, Summerslam, in the next couple of months. And overall some of these matches have outstanding betting value. Our friends over 5Dimes were the first to post odds for this big WWE PPV event, and boy does this card
have some easy predictable winners. However, there are a couple of matches that have some interesting plus-money odds attached as well.
My WWE betting predictions have been profitable (Elimination Chamber was not good at 3-3), and at WrestleMania I cashed five out of eight matches with a
plus-money winner on Randy Orton. In my last six WWE PPVs I am 27-10, and if you are going to place some cash on these matches I highly recommend betting
them early because these numbers move quickly because of low limits. This is not a WWE prime PPV event, but again these PPVs can provide some good betting
opportunities, and if you can get a good number early you can make some Sunday evening quick cash.
Here are the odds and my betting predictions - Odds Provided by 5Dimes
WWE Tag Team Championship
The New Day -420
The Prime Time Players +300
Prediction: This should be a really good match, and I'm so glad that they brought back 'The Prime Time Players'. They have improved so much in the ring and
on the mic, and I can see this rivalry lasting until Summerslam. Really thought the New Day would be a bigger favorite here because, again, I don't see
them losing their titles until a bigger PPV. The New Day play the heel card so good, and the crowd feeds on them. I see The New Day winning again, but
maybe I will be betting against them during Summerslam. Grab this -420 if you like big favorites because this match will get bet up to at least -600 or
higher. Prediction NEW DAY ROCKS or what the crowd screams at them… maybe "NEW DAY SUCKS".
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Ryback -1800
Big Show +900
Prediction: I can't remember the last time the Big Show won a pay-per-view match, and Sunday at the Nationwide Arena (Columbus Blue Jackets home) I see the
Big Show going down again. I actually feel bad for the Big Show and Kane because it seems like every WWE PPV event they take a loss every night. Not a big
fan of Ryback, and I do not see him being the Intercontinental Championship for too long. But on Sunday Ryback should have no problem beating the Big Show.
Too bad this match has absolutely no betting value.
WWE Divas Championship
Nikki Bella -170
Paige +130
Prediction: Raise your hand if you are tired with the same three or four Divas fighting for the Divas Championship. A bit shocked that Nikki Bella is only
-170 because I'm hearing that Naomi will be the one to take the Divas Title away from Nikki. Still, I believe getting Nikki Bella under -200 is a steal,
and the only thing I'm excited for this match is to hear Nikki Bella win by the Rack Attack. Prediction: Nikki Bella and jump on this price now because
this number will hit -300 or higher by Saturday afternoon.
John Cena -190
Kevin Owens +150
Predictions: In Elimination Chamber there was a huge upset as Kevin Owens beat John Cena and Kevin Owens opened as a high +200 underdog. Kevin Owens is
the real deal, and his stock in the WWE company is really high. However, beating John Cena twice at a PPV is highly doubtful. Kevin Owens is going to
be a great heel for months to come, and I agree the Cena stock is dropping, so I'm predicting Cena will win but he will win by something weird like
count out, disqualification, or maybe Owens just stops fighting. If you are looking for a good live underdog play then Owens is a smart bet because
Cena is not afraid to lose pay-per-views, and if he loses again to Owens he will still be one of the most popular WWE wrestlers on the roster.
Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Roman Reigns -600
Kofi Kingston 10-1
Dolph Ziggler 16-1
Randy Orton 10-1
Neville 16-1
Sheamus 16-1
Kane 9-1
Prediction: There is a reason why Roman Reigns is a -600 favorite in this Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I have no clue why Kofi Kingston is in this match
-- my guess is to be thrown around for a good 10-15 minutes. Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler have won a 'Money in the Bank' match before, so they have no
chance. Neville is too wet behind the ears to be the winner, and Sheamus in my eyes has no chance in winning this match. I already told you about Kane, so
I don't need to repeat why Kane is even in this match. The suits in the back will have tons of options if and when Roman Reigns wins this match, and you
can tell that Roman Reigns is improving in the ring and the mic, so it's only smart to have Roman Reigns win the Money in the Bank.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Seth Rollins -650
Dean Ambrose +420
Prediction: I loved Dean Ambrose stealing the title and running around Bourbon St last week, and right now Dean Ambrose is my favorite wrestler. I'm sure
J&J security will be involved in this match, and the only reason why I see Seth Rollins winning this match is because Brock Lesnar is coming back this
month, and since Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract against Lesnar, it's only the smart thing to do to have Rollins face off the Lesnar.
Prediction is easy! Seth Rollins wins. Tons of rumors circling about Roman Reigns cashing in and beating Seth Rollins or a possible Brock Lesner sighting
at this PPV, so we could see a big surprise at the end of this match.
