The stars will be out Sunday in Los Angeles as the Staples Center will be jam packed to watch the final match between Brock Lesnar against the Undertaker. After an uneventful pay-per-view Night of Champions at the Staples Center, it should provide an outstanding wrestling evening. With seven matches on the main card, we will see some upsets happening Sunday night.
I'm so bummed that I will not be attending Hell in a Cell in Los Angeles, but I had to leave the calendar open just in case the Chicago Cubs made the World Series. However, we all know now that it didn't happen. Sunday's card has seven matches, and we could see more than one title changing Sunday night. Our friends over at 5Dimes were one of the first to post odds on these Hell in a Cell matches, and as of Friday afternoon we have already seen some big and shocking line movement.
My WWE betting predictions have been profitable, and at Night of Champions we went 6-1 and cashed, not one, but two plus-money matches. In my last 10 WWE PPVs I am 46-17, and if you are going to place some cash on these WWE matches I highly recommend betting them early because these numbers move quickly because of low limits.
Here are the odds and my betting predictions - Odds Provided by 5Dimes
Tag Team Match
Dolph Ziggler & Cesaro & Neville -210
Rusev & Sheamus & King Barrett +160
This match is a RAW rematch, and if we see the same caliber match like we saw last Monday this could be the best match of the night. Dolph, Cesaro, and
Neville should win this match with no problem just because I see no benefit for having Rusev, Sheamus, and King Barrett winning. Another bold prediction
here is that maybe we see Dolph Ziggler pinning Rusev and maybe pinning John Cena. What a night Ziggler could have in LA Sunday night.
WWE Tag Team Championship
The New Day +180
Dudley Boyz -260
(end of broadcast ruling)
Soon or later the Dudley Boyz will have the Tag Team belts, but at Hell in a Cell I don't see it. The New Day are still in a great position in the WWE, and
I see them losing the belts at WrestleMania, not in LA. I'm a bit worried if they strip the belts away from the New Day that their heel gimmick might fade,
and right now they are still hot inside and outside the ring. I'm taking the plus money in this Tag Team match, and I see the New Day continuing to carry
the gold.
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Kevin Owens -900
Ryback +500
(end of broadcast ruling)
There is a reason why Kevin Owens is a -900 favorite in this match, because I don't see Ryback getting the intercontinental belt back anytime soon or ever.
Owens is such a great heel that I don't see them stripping him of the belt anytime soon. Kevin Owens stock is rising fast, and if he continues to play a
great heel I see him losing the Intercontinental Championship and having his eyes on the bigger belt. Easy prediction here, Kevin Owens!
WWE Divas Championship
Charlotte -900
Nikki Bella +500
(end of broadcast ruling)
Raise your hand if you are tired of the Divas Revolution or the same Divas matches? D\I don't see Nikki Bella regaining the Divas belt in Staples Center,
so I completely agree on the high number on Charlotte and don't see her losing this match or the Divas title. Would like to see Brie Bella maybe get a
chance at a Divas championship run or at least big feud with Charlotte. No matter what, another easy prediction as Charlotte -900 might be the easiest pick
on the WWE betting board this Sunday.
Hell in a Cell Match
Roman Reigns -530
Bray Wyatt +350
(end of broadcast ruling)
This should be a very interesting and weird match at the same time, but Roman Reigns should come out on top in this Hell in a Cell match. Bray Wyatt can
carry a feud and a wrestling match with the best of them, but if they want to give Reigns a major push before WrestleMania you figure
it will be this match against Wyatt. I can see the feud between the Wyatt Family versus Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns end Sunday night, and with Reigns
winning this match I can't wait to see what they have planned for all parties. Take Reigns at -530 because this number will move all weekend long.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Seth Rollins -490
Kane +330
(end of broadcast ruling)
Why this is even a match is beyond me, and this could be the worst match of the night. When was the last time Kane won a PPV match? Getting Seth Rollins
-490 in my eyes seems cheap as I thought for sure the champ would be -900. This match tells me that they want Seth Rollins to have the belt for
WrestleMania, because again, this is a horrible, waste of time and most-easy-to-predict match of the night. Seth Rollins wins and Corporate Kane gets
fired, and I think Rollins wrestles Hornswoggle in the next PPV.
Hell in a Cell Match
Brock Lesnar -425
The Undertaker +305
(end of broadcast ruling)
Am I the only person who is happy that this feud will be the last? I was so happy that the powers that be had both the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar appear
on RAW, because it sold the match for this Sunday. I actually got a bit excited for this last match between these two. Brock Lensar is going to destroy Old
Man Taker Sunday night, and the Beast will take the Undertaker to Suplex City. Easy prediction here as Brock Lesnar wins, and maybe just maybe we might get
a tease on who Lensar will fight at WrestleMania.
Who Will Win the US Championship Match
Mystery Opponent -335
John Cena +225
(odds provided by bwin)
It's no secret that John Cena is getting ready to take a very long layoff from the WWE, so it makes perfect sense to have him lose the US Championship
belt. I'm completely shocked that the 'Mystery Opponent' is only -335. So many rumors flying around who this wrestler will be (Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose,
Braun Strowman, One of the Hardy Boyz, etc) but no matter who it is, they will be the new US Champion. Jump on this -335, because this number will close
-600 or higher. I'm going to miss Cena the next couple of months.
