HBO has some of the best shows around, and there's no question "Game of Thrones" has to be one the premium cable channel's best. Game of Thrones is one of my favorites on TV, and this epic show is based on the novels written by George R. R. Martin. Five books have been written so far, and HBO has filmed five seasons. It's anyone's guess what will happen next. Will it follow the books? Or has the show veered off the original story? Our friends over at Bovada have posted odds on who will be the ruling King or Queen of Westeros at the end of the series.

I'm going to break down the 17 characters listed below, and if you aren't caught up on the show I apologize for the spoilers, but I'm trying to put some entertainment betting cash in our wallets!

Who will be the ruling King or Queen of Westeros at the end of the Series?

Jon Snow +250
Prediction: Is he dead or alive? Did he get a haircut or is he now part White Walker? So many questions with Jon Snow in the upcoming season, but the odds of him being the King of Westeros I believe is a long shot. Jon Snow is the favorite, and I'm still shocked to see him the favorite after being killed off. I don't see Jon Snow as the King or even lasting in the books or HBO series. Sorry ladies, but Jon Snow has no chance!

Daenerys Targaryen +300
Prediction: Khaleesi or my favorite name, and the Mother of Dragons is my favorite to be sitting on the Iron Throne. Khaleesi has proven to be ruthless when needed, and she has DRAGONS. Not cartoon Disney dragons but fire-breathing, get-out-of-my-way dragons. Her army is getting bigger, she has devoted followers and she is hot. As long as Daenerys Targaryen aka Khaleesi aka Mother of Dragons is still breathing. she is my favorite to rule the seven kingdoms.

Aegon VI Targaryen +600
Prediction: Aegon Targaryen is an unseen character in the Game of Thrones HBO series, and since George R.R. Martin hasn't finished writing I don't see him writing the King or Queen without having him or her on Game of Thrones. Just my two cents!

Tyrion Lannister +750
Predictions: So in the books, Tyrion Lannister dies in combat (spoiler alert), which makes me think we won't see him ruling the Seven Kingdoms, no matter how much I love his character. The acting that Peter Dinklage does portraying Tyrion Lannister is nothing but brilliant, and I would love to say lay the +750 on him, but again if you are already dead in the books I don't see you being crowned.

Petyr Baelish +750
Prediction: A little shocked that Petyr Baelish is not higher because to me all his back stabbings and secrets will eventually catch up to him, that and the fact that I don't believe his bloodline would put him on the Iron Throne. Anytime your nickname is Master of Coin I'm sold, but I believe at +750 he has no value. If this number was higher, which I do believe it should be, then I might take a stab, but it would shock me to see Petyr Baelish on the Throne, maybe sleeping with whoever is on the Throne is more believable.

Bran or Rickon Stark 16-1
Prediction: Rickon Stark is a recurring character in Game of Thones, but we haven't seen him since the third season. He is the youngest son of Eddard Stark, or headless Stark, and this choice would make sense. However, he is not a popular character in the books or Game of Thrones. Regardless, I believe his odds should be higher. Again, not a bad choice, but at 16-1 I would wait to see if this number climbs.

Margaery Tyrell 18-1
Prediction: Margaery Tyrell is one of my favorite characters in Game of Thrones because she is sneaky and always has her eyes on the prize. I wish I could say Margaery Tyrell is a good bet at 18-1, but the troubles her brother has and her mother in law issues will probably eventually get her killed. She has the looks that kill, but another case where your family actions can do you in. If this number climbs to around 25-1 or 30-1 I might put some small change on her.

Varys 20-1
Predictions: I can't believe Varys is still alive! Sometimes called 'The Spider,' he is still a major character and his skills at manipulating are flawless, and again I'm shocked that know one has caught on and killed him or cut of his head. Varys has no chance at being the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, and I'm shocked that he wasn't higher odds-wise.

Sansa Stark 20-1
Prediction: Looking for a long shot! Sansa Stark could be that long shot. One of my favorite quotes in the show is "I'm Sansa Stark of Winterfell. This is my home and you can't frighten me." She has courage and revenge on the mind, because don't forget she saw her father get is head cut off by Joffrey. If at the end of the series I see Sansa Stark sitting on the Iron Throne, it wouldn't shock me, and I know I will have a live ticket on her at 20-1. She has been through too much, and if any character deserved a happy ending it would be Sansa Stark.

Euron Greyjoy 25-1

Predictions: Euron Greyjoy is another unseen character in the Game of Thrones HBO series, and again since George R.R. Martin hasn't finished writing I don't see him writing the King or Queen without having him or her on the popular HBO Series Game of Thrones.

Night's King 30-1
Prediction: The leader of the White Walkers is not a bad bet because of the unstoppable army of the dead, but doesn't good beat evil in books and HBO series shows? The Night's King and the White Walkers have been around since the Wall was complete and the Night's Watch was established. At 30-1 the Night's King seems like a bad bet because the Night's Watch will take care of the White Walkers.

Stannis Baratheon 33-1
Predictions: Why isn't Stannis Baratheon like 200-1 or higher! Last season on Game of Thrones he died, and I'm still pissed that he lit a pyre under his daughter. Some experts and blogs say that he is still alive because all we saw was lady knight swing her sword, so this could be an interesting plot. Stannis Baratheon probably still has Lord of Light priestess Melisandre by his side, but again if you died in Game of Thrones you probably don't have a shot at the Throne.

Cersei Lannister 50-1
Prediction: Wow, with what we saw Cersei Lannister go through last season (very exposed), it's hard for me to believe she could be on Throne at the end. Too many characters would love to see her head on a stake, and I would be shocked to see her survive at the end. There is a reason why she is 50-1, and again I believe there is no value with Cersei Lannister.

Tystane Martell 50-1
Predictions: Tystane Martell is a very interesting character, and he was brought to Game of Thrones in the fifth season. Trystane is proposed as a potential marriage candidate for Princess Mycella Baratheon daughter of Cersei Lannister. Tystane Martell at 50-1 intrigues me, and I have my eye on this character because he has tons of potential. Keep Tystane Martell in the back of your mind. Could be a late play if the odds climb up.

Arya Stark 50-1
Predictions: Here is my long shot pick! Can someone please tell me why Arya Stark is 50-1 to sit on the Iron Throne? Arya Stark has said multiple times that she is going to kill everyone that has wronged her, and so far she has backed her talk up. Arya Stark is headstrong, fierce, and has outstanding fighting skills. I can't wait to see where this character goes, and I would totally be shocked if they kill her off. Grab the 50-1 now because the longer she stays alive the shorter her odds are going to be. You go girl!

Ramsay Bolton 60-1
Prediction: I hate this character in Game of Thrones, and if you could bet the next major character to be killed off I would lay the price with Ramsay Bolton. I hope Sansa Stark puts a knife in his manhood then watches him bleed out. Here is another character that his odds should be much higher because I don't see Ramsay Bolton staying around long. I think I like Michael Bolton more then Ramsay Bolton.

Hodor 500-1
Predictions: Hodor is a simple-minded loveable servant of the House Stark at Winterfell, and this character is someone you just want to give a big hug. Hodor has absolute no shot, and these odds should be a million-to-one. I'm cheering for him just to stay alive through the books and Game of Thrones.
