What a bunch of losers.

Look, it is not as if I didn't predict that Robert Griffin III had major bust potential before he was even drafted. But his spectacular flame out in Washington continues to be one of the best comedic elements of the No Fun League. Griffin is a certified loser. And as long as he is at the controls this racist franchise will continue to receive its just desserts.

I don't think there is any doubt that Colt McCoy is the best quarterback on the Washington roster and they would be a much better team with him at the controls. But Jay Gruden, whether pressured by the front office or not, seems content with riding Griffin into the abyss.

Washington has an improving offensive line and a solid back in Al Morris. But they made a head-scratching decision to bring in Joe Barry as defensive coordinator and they could have the worst crop of cornerbacks in football. Add in a feeble pass rush and that makes for a major problem when you consider the outstanding passing offenses they are up against in the NFC East.

Three home games in the first four weeks of the season give the Redskins some hope. And games against the Falcons, Jets and Bucs are all winnable in October. But I think the Redskins will be underdogs in every game following their Week 8 bye, and I can't see them winning more than two contests at the back end of their schedule.

I really don't want to waste too much time with this one. The Redskins are trash. They have major holes on both sides of the ball and are clearly the worst team in an average division. The Redskins have won just seven games the past two years and have won more than six games just one time in the last six campaigns. I have a hard time seeing them surpass that number this year, and the only way to play this one is 'under'.
