2015 Season Win Total Picks NCAA Football: 'Over'

I hit an easy winner with the 'under' on Vanderbilt last year as the Commodores were one of the worst teams in the country. They only beat Massachusetts (by 3), Charleston Southern (by 1) and Old Dominion on the season. They do have 17 starters back and are in the second season of Derek Mason's system. But these guys are still pretty awful and will be hard-pressed to top last season's total wins.

Vanderbilt played four different quarterbacks in 2014 and don't really have a clear-cut answer at the most important position heading into this year. Nearly the entire defense is back. But this team got pushed around by everyone and wasn't physically competitive in the SEC.

The Commodores have 26 players on the roster that started at least five games last year. They are still very young - they only have six seniors starting - and also not very talented.

I think Vandy has a great chance to beat WKU, Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee. Although none of those are a given. If that's the case then this group only needs to pull one upset - including a game at Houston in late October - to get 'over' their season win total.

I know I'm not throwing any of my own cash on it. But if I had to I would take a shot and play Vanderbilt to go 'over'.
