2015 St. Louis Rams Predictions: Season Win Totals Odds and Picks

2015 Las Vegas Season Win Total: 8.5

All offseason I listened to media bobblehead after media bobblehead proclaim the Rams as their "sleeper team" in the NFC. But when are people going to call the Rams what they are: the NFC version of the Cleveland Browns.

The Rams haven't had a winning season since 2003 and have averaged 4.4 wins per season the last eight years. They are one of the worst organizations in the NFL and now have the negative karma of a potential move to Los Angeles hanging over their heads this season. Throw in an ultra-competitive NFC West schedule, and for the life of me I can't see anything but failure for this group in 2015.

St. Louis has perhaps the worst collection of skill players in the NFL. Nick Foles? Kenny Britt? A rookie running back not fully recovered from major knee surgery? This is who the Rams are banking on, all behind a below-average offensive line? The Rams haven't finished in the Top 20 in scoring over eight years, and I don't see how on earth they'll top that mark this season.

The Rams have one of the best front sevens in football. However, they still haven't finished in the Top 12 in either points allowed or yards allowed over the past three seasons. They're solid defensively. But this team isn't nearly as good as people give them credit for, and I don't see them being able to overcome the myriad of problems facing their fledgling offense.

The Rams have been outscored on the season for 11 straight years, one of the worst marks in the NFL. They are not a good team, and I don't see how they will get to nine wins this year. For me this is one of the easiest calls on the board: play the Rams 'under'.
