2015 Season Win Total Picks NCAA Football: 'Over'
The Buckeyes shouldn't have made it into the college football playoffs last year. There is no doubt in my mind that TCU was more deserving. But Ohio State did make the playoffs and then they ran the table, claiming another national title. With virtually the entire team back, the expectations are clear: do it again.
And there's no reason why Ohio State shouldn't at least make it back to the playoffs. They have 15 returning starters. They have three quarterbacks that could be drafted into the NFL. They have gone 38-3 since Urban Meyer showed up. Their biggest competition in the league is Michigan State, and the Buckeyes get that game in Columbus. Everything is working is pointing toward a potential dynasty.
Ohio State's schedule only features three games in which they have a prayer of losing. The first is the opener at Virginia Tech, the only team that beat them last year. The other two are the last two games of the regular season: versus Michigan State and at Michigan.
The only way to win this wager on the 'over' is if they go undefeated. The only way to win this wager on the 'under' is for them to lose twice. I wouldn't wager a dime on either scenario. But if I had to, I would put my money on Urban Meyer; I don't see them losing twice.
