2015 Season Win Total Prediction: 'Over'
The MAC is a league that has a lot of coaches come and go. A lot of assistants from big schools come to the MAC to get experience before moving on. But not at Ohio. Coach Frank Solich has been here for 11 years after coming over from Nebraska. He and his assistants have helped this become one of the most consistent teams in the league.
Ohio has finished at .500 or better in eight of the last nine years. They won only six games and missed a bowl game last year for the first time since 2008. I think they will be motivated to come back strong this season, and I see Ohio making it back to a bowl.
The Bobcats have 18 starters back, including 10 on offense. They are still young in spots on offense. But they also have solid special teams, and I think that will help win them a game this year.
I like Ohio to go 'over' against their season win total this year. They should win their first three games. They should be favored in all of their home games. They will get upset a couple times. But they will pull some upsets, too. I think Ohio easily makes it to six wins.
