I can't believe it's almost here, and I still won't believe this fight will happen until I see both fighters inside the ring. We have less than two weeks before the biggest fight in my gambling life, and Saturday May 2 will be a crazy day for sports gamblers and fans in general. Not only is the biggest fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, but on that day you have the Kentucky Derby, MLB Baseball, NHL Playoffs, NBA Playoffs, and the last day of the NFL Draft.

The betting handle for this mage fight has finally leveled out as my former fellow Las Vegas Sportsbook directors have told me, but I believe the closer the fight gets the more money Manny Pacquiao will probably get. My opinion! My old company, MGM Resorts, opened this mega, much-wanted and highly-anticipated fight at Floyd Mayweather Jr. -240 and quickly saw the betting number go down to -170 because of heavy Pacquiao money. As of Monday afternoon MGM Resorts VP of Race and Sports Jay Rood told me that Mayweather is -185 and Pacquiao +165. I would have never thought that I could get a Mayweather anytime under -200.

Books across Las Vegas and offshore will be putting up crazy betting props on this mega fight, and I believe value will be all over the betting board. Right now the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has jumped the gun on betting props for this fight, and I'm sure other casinos and offshore books will be outdueling each other on who can put up the most props. I have talked to numerous offshore books and they told me that they are looking at cross-sports betting props that involve this mega fight, so stay tuned and I will keep you posted on all Mayweather-Pacquiao betting opportunities.
