2015 Season Win Total Prediction: 'Under'

I felt that Army blew a golden opportunity for a bowl-eligible season in 2014, sliding to just four wins despite an extremely experienced squad. Losses to bad teams like Wake Forest (by 3), Yale (in overtime), and Kent State (by 22) really sabotaged what could've been an excellent year.

Now they are in a complete rebuild this season, with just nine total starters back - combined - on both sides of the ball. They do have three offensive linemen back in the fold, which is key for running their option attack, but from there things are pretty bleak. Defensively they were No. 90 in the country last year and could be worse this time around.

Army plays four fellow bottom feeders to start the season before a tough Penn State-Duke double to start October. The Armed Forces opponents, Air Force and Navy, don't show up until the last month of the season. They should have two gimme games against Fordham and Bucknell to get them halfway to topping their win total.

But last year's squad was much better than this year's version, and even they could only put together four wins. I can see them pulling one upset against someone like Eastern Michigan or perhaps Tulane. But I have a very hard time seeing, in the best-case scenario, Army winning more than three games.
