McIlroy is coming off another inexplicable collapse during the final 18 holes of a PGA tournament. The golfer went into the final day of the Honda Classic with a 12-under par and two-stroke lead over Russell Henley, but he ended the day shooting a 74 with five bogeys, a double bogey and a comically-bad shot during the final hole that set up a four-person playoff against Ryan Palmer, Russell Knox and Henley-who went on to win the tournament and qualify for the Masters.

He stood through Henley's post-victory speech and spoke to the media when he didn't have to, and he even put the loss in prospective, stating that he didn't deserve to win and would have "counted myself lucky" if he had somehow managed to pull off a victory.
