Betting with The Prop Machine and Free Tuesday Pick
by Doc's Sports - 6/3/2014
To enhance the betting action on college football and the NFL, the NBA and even Major League Baseball, the oddsmakers will release a number of player props bets for whatever games are available any given day of the week. Betting on player props is an excellent way to build your overall bankroll as long as you know how and where to look.
This is not as easy as it may appear, and if you try and tackle these types of wagers on your own player props can easily end up being a tremendous drain on your wallet. This is where The Prop Machine has you covered. This prop bet system is designed to differentiate between the players that are dead on with their numbers and the ones that are over or undervalued by the oddsmakers in relation to their current form. When The Prop Machine spots a bad line it will jump on it accordingly with the use of Doc's Sports Unit Betting System as a betting guide.
This is not a 'get-rich-quick' scheme, and you have to be willing to ride the highs and lows that go hand in hand with wagering on sports, but the overall results speak for themselves. The Prop Machine is up over $38,000 in the past year for all sports. This includes a $27,000 return for last year's college football and NFL season. It is up over $11,000 in the NBA this year, and its selections this season for the "under two" for MLB hits, runs and home runs as already returned $4,680 to the $100 bettorfollowing the Unit Betting System's recommended play.
Last Week's Results
With football grinding its way through the offseason and the NBA down to this year's Finals, the action has shifted to MLB player props. I mentioned last week that is was the perfect time to jump aboard The Prop Machine money train after it posted a less-than-stellar return the week before. It did not disappoint with a 7-3 record on its MLB selections that returned a profit of $2,200 for $100 bettors.
After taking a break for the Memorial Day Holiday, The Prop Machine came charging out of the gate with a 5-1 start in its first six MLB picks of last week. It capitalized on some strong strikeout performances by Aaron Harang, Chris Archer and Ubaldo Jimenez.
Even though The Prop Machine gave some of the winnings back with a 2-2 record over the weekend, the bottom line on last week's MLB picks remained solidly in the black.
Future Trends
Identifying trends is a vital part of The Prop Machine's overall success as the recent past can sometimes provide an excellent gateway to future results. Looking back at this Monday's matchup between Kansas City and St. Louis, starting Cardinals' pitcher Shelby Miller had thrown his fastball 72.8 percent of the time this season, which is the fifth-highest percentage in the majors. He ended the night allowing four earned runs with just two strikeouts in a 6-0 loss in a game where he was highly overvalued.
The Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw has allowed a .028 ISO in at-bats that end with his curve ball since the 2012 season. He went on to get his fourth win of the season on Monday by holding the Chicago White Sox to two earned runs on four hits while fanning nine in a full eight innings of work. As good as the Dodgers' ace is, he was actually undervalued in this matchup.
The Prop Machine Free Pick
Despite posting a winning week with its overall selections, The Prop Machine missed the boat on last Tuesday's free pick. It went with the "over 14.5 total points" on Oklahoma City's Reggie Jackson in Game 4 of the series against San Antonio. But in all fairness, an early ankle injury derailed his chances to make an impact in that game.
The Prop Machine still boasts a 6-3 winning record in its last nine free picks for this article, and it has all intentions of improving that winning percentage with this week's selection. It is going with the "over 5.5" on strikeouts (-115 Sportsbook.ag) on Tampa Bay starter Chris Archer in tonight's game against Miami.
