Betting with The Prop Machine and Free Monday Pick
by Doc's Sports - 7/21/2014
With MLB player props the only game in town, it was a quiet week for The Prop Machine in light of the recent all-star break. This made it a great time to reflect back on the first half of the MLB season that produced a profitable record of 102-79, which equates to a return of 56 percent.
This pace has been accelerated over the past three weeks with 14 days of winning picks. That means that anyone that was aboard this money train for player prop bets over the past 22 days would have pocketed $2,880 for a $100 wager using Doc's Sports Unit Betting System.
The biggest money-maker this MLB season has been the "under 2" prop bet on combined hits, runs and RBI. That record stands at an amazing 22-1 for a return of $8,280 on a $100 bet.
The profits on player props have not been limited to just MLB games as all sports are up over $40,000 this past year with The Prop Machine's selection packages. The return for college football and the NFL alone in 2013 was more than $27,000 based on a record of 275-189. When it came to player props for this past NBA season, The Prop Machine was up over $11,000 while connecting on 57 percent of its picks.
The Prop Machine has been producing winning results such as this for the past six years based on one simple premise of finding the bad lines for players that are either overvalued or undervalued by the oddsmakers. While the premise may be simple, actually uncovering these opportunities is not.
It would be next to impossible for the average sports bettor to reach even half of these types of returns on their own, which is why it is a great time of the year to get in on all the action as The Prop Machine begins to ramp things up for another season of football player props.
Last Week's Results
The Prop Machine hit it big the final weekend before the MLB all-star break with a 3-0-2 record in five selections from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13 for a return of +$1200 on a trio of 4-unit plays. Once again the "under" play on total hits, runs and RBI paid huge dividends with three straight correct selections.
This past weekend did not go as planned once the games did resume with the wrong call in two of three picks for a negative return of -$560, but combined with the weekend before, The Prop Machine was still in the black to the tune of $640 over its last eight MLB player prop selections.
Future Trends
It will be business as usual now that the first full week of the second half of the MLB regular season is underway. All season long, The Prop Machine has spent a great deal of time analyzing the tendencies of starting pitchers in terms of the frequency of the pitches they throw.
A perfect example of a pitcher that is undervalued right now is Seattle starter Roenis Elias. The rookie left-hander has struggled as of late after a fast start, but this Monday night he faces a New York Mets' lineup that has really struggled to hit curveballs this season.
Elias is allowing a .114 batting average against his curveball this year, which is the fourth-best percentage in the Majors. He throws this pitch 23.8 percent of the time, which is the third-highest percentage in the American League among qualified pitchers. This could all add up to a big night for strikeouts against a player prop bet with a low total.
The Prop Machine Free Pick
Going back to Monday, June 7, The Prop Machine's free pick that night was a 4-unit play on the "over 6" on Philadelphia's Cole Hamels total strikeouts against Milwaukee, and he came through with 7 Ks in the win.
This raises The Prop Machine's record to 10-3 in its last 13 free selections, which equates to a return of $2,680 for any $100 bettor that has taken full advantage of these picks by using the recommended play on Doc's Unit Betting System.
This Monday night, The Prop Machine has come up with another 4-unit play by going with the "over 5" (-140 Bovada) on Roenis Elias's strikeouts in Seattle's game against the Mets.
