Betting with The Prop Machine and Free Monday Pick
by Dave Schwab - 5/19/2014
This year's NBA playoffs is down to just four teams, so the opportunity to cash in on some of the individual player props for the games has become rather limited. The Prop Machine has been hammering the NBA player props all season long with a return of over $13,000, but it has now turned its full attention to the MLB player props on a day-by-day basis.
The main advantage of using The Prop Machine's selections for betting player props, as opposed to trying to go it on your own, is a proven system that has been cranking out winners for both college football and the NFL as well as the NBA and MLB for quite some time now. Last football season the combined return for all of its football selections was up over $27,000 and when you add it all up, The Prop Machine has delivered a return on investment of $42,000 with the use of Doc's Unit Betting System.
The key to this success is uncovering the bad lines the oddsmakers release on an almost daily basis. Many times the odds focus on a player's season average as opposed to their current form. This leads to certain players being overvalued or undervalued in relation to their numbers for a particular game. To the untrained eye this can be extremely difficult to spot, so that is why the best approach to making money on player props is to just sit back and collect while The Prop Machine does all the heavy lifting.
Last Week's Results
The Prop Machine turned in another winning week with its MLB prop bet picks to take the season return close to the $4,000 mark. It went 14-11 for a return of $360. While that is not a bad return for one week's work, it was actually below the numbers for the past few weeks. This slight downturn could very well set the stage for a potential big return with this week's picks. Going back just two weeks ago, The Prop Machine hit on 14 of 21 MLB picks for a return of $2,260.
The hottest prop bet for MLB games this season has been the "under 2" for combined hits, runs and RBIs. The Prop Machine has released 14 selections for this prop, and it is 13-1 with a return of + $4,680.
It cashed in on San Diego's Jedd Gyorko "under 2" H/R/RBI last in last Tuesday's and Thursday's game. It came back with the right call on "under 2" H/R/RBI pick for Cleveland's Nick Swisher this past Saturday and then followed that up by going with the same bet for the Indians' Carlos Santana in Sunday's contest.
Future Trends
Spotting future trends and riding them until they end is another big part of The Prop Machine's winning strategy. Turning back to the NBA Conference Finals series between Miami and Indiana, it believes that the Pacers' Paul George will continue to be overvalued as the series progresses.
He scored 24 points in the series opener against the Heat, which was slightly above his overall playoff average of 22.1 points per game. He could very well draw a big number on his total points for Game 2 on Tuesday night as well as Saturday's Game 3 to set up a couple of plays on the under.
The Prop Machine Free Pick
The Prop Machine's winning streak for its weekly free picks finally came to an end at six with the Nets Shawn Livingston going "over 10.5 points" in last Monday's Game 4 against Miami in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. However, for anyone who did bet all seven of these free picks using Doc's Unit Betting System, they would still be up $1,940.
The Prop Machine is ready to bounce back this Monday with a free pick on the "over 13.5" total points (-115 Sportsbook.ag) for Oklahoma City's Reggie Jackson in tonight's game against San Antonio. He is averaging 10.7 points a game in the playoffs.
