Betting with The Prop Machine and Free Monday Pick
by Doc's Sports - 4/28/2014
Wagering on individual player props for NFL, NBA and MLB games can sound like an easy thing to do. However, unless you are willing to do your homework by digging deep into the numbers for both season-long and recent trends, these type of wagers can quickly drain a bankroll. Fortunately, The Prop Machine is here to do all the heavy lifting. All you have to do is jump on board for the ride.
The Prop Machine came into the NBA playoffs with a net profit of $15,000 from its selections during the NBA regular season for $100 bettors that followed Doc's Sports Unit Betting System for all of these picks. Wagering on individual player props is by no means a sprint to the finish, but it's rather a long and drawn out marathon that can provide an incredible return on investment for anyone who sticks it out for the long haul.
The key to producing results such as these is finding the value in individual player's numbers for any given week. The oddsmakers base the majority of their prop bet odds on season averages and trends. The Prop Machine creates its winning edge by uncovering which of these players are undervalued or overvalued in relation to their current form juxtaposed to these season averages and trends. It then exploits any significant gaps either way with a play on the bad lines that end up getting released as a result.
Last Week's Results
Focusing in on The Prop Machine's selections for MLB player props, the early results have been impressive to say the least. It went 11-4 this past week for a return of $2,360 for $100 bettors following Doc's Unit Betting System. This followed a record of 13-8 in its first week of MLB picks for a return of $720. This adds up to a winning percentage of 67 percent on an overall record of 24-12.
This hot start continues to move in the right direction with an 8-2 mark in the last five days that has returned $2,220. The Prop Machine made the correct call on the "under 2" on Cleveland's Carlos Santana's total hits, runs and RBIs this past Friday and then followed it up with the "under 2.5" on Cincinnati's Joey Votto's total hits, runs and RBIs on Saturday. The trifecta to close out the weekend was the "under 2.5" on the New York Yankees Carlos Beltran's total hits, runs and RBIs on Sunday.
Futures Trends
The Prop Machine intends to continue to look for opportunities for a play on the "under 2" when it comes to total hits, runs and RBI after a blazing 7-0 run on these type on MLB player prop bets over the last two weeks. Just as a side note, the opposing team won all seven of the games The Prop Machine made this selection in so far. While there are no guarantees that that trend will continue as the 7-0 streak of the opposing team winning is most likely a coincidence.
Nonetheless, it is a great time to get on board as The Prop Machine remains confident that there will be some golden opportunities to cash in on a few additional "under 2" hits, runs and RBI selections this week as well.
The Prop Machine Free Pick
The free pick winning streak reached four in a row with last Monday's play on the "over 33" on Kevin Durant's total points in a NBA playoff game against Memphis. The Thunder lost in overtime, but he posted 36 points on the night. This means that anyone betting on these free picks over the past month or so would have a return of $1,600 if they followed the recommended unit play.
For this week's free pick, The Prop Machine is sticking with the MLB with a 4-Unit play on "over 6.5 strikeouts" (-130 Bovada) for St. Louis right-handed starter Michael Wacha in Monday night's game against Milwaukee.
