Betting with The Prop Machine and Free Monday Pick
by Doc's Sports - 7/28/2014
This is the time of year when most avid sports bettors are looking for ways to increase their profit for MLB handicapping. One of the best and most profitable ways to diversify your MLB bets is taking advantage of the player prop bet odds that are released daily in conjunction with the games, but only if you know how and where to look.
The Prop Machine is the ultimate source for cashing in on player prop bets for most major sports. The secret to its success for the past six years is the ability to properly break down the matchups to find players that are either undervalued or overvalued in comparison with the oddsmakers' betting lines. This is much easier said than done, so in order take full advantage of this golden opportunity to build your bankroll just in time for a new football season, you have to climb on board now.
The Prop Machine's player prop selections for the MLB regular season have provided a return of $500 for $100 bettors using Doc's Unit Betting System. Over the past month it has hit on 28 of 45 picks for a return of 62 percent, and the player props for "under 2" for hits, runs and RBI have gone 23-1 this season for a return of $8,680 for $100 bettors.
The profits have been rolling in all year long for The Prop Machine's selection packages. This past college football and NFL season provided a return of over $27,000, and the recent NBA season paid off to the tune of $11,000. That means that the year-to-date profit for all $100 bettors along for the full ride have added over $40,000 to their bankroll riding the money-making machine known simply as The Prop Machine.
The Prop Machine is not a get-rich-quick scheme or an off-and-on betting option to fill the gaps. The biggest payback will always go to the smart sports bettor that follows the recommended play on each and every player prop selection using Doc's Unit Betting System.
Simply stated; if you would have bet $100 on the recommended unit play for every selection The Prop Machine released since Aug. 1 of 2013, you entire bankroll on just these selections would be $50,000.
Last Week's Results
The Prop Machine cashed in on three of its first four selections for last week's MLB player props for a return of $740, but it hit a rough patch from there with a 2-3-1 record to close out the week. This resulted in a net profit of just $60 for all 10 picks. And while this would hardly be considered one of The Prop Machine's better weeks, it still left bettors in the black.
The two player props that still remained hot last week were a couple of "overs" on starting pitchers total strikeouts and a couple of "under 2" on hits, runs and RBI for a few select batters. This is a perfect example of how past trends and recent form can be used to predict a player's performance in light of his betting odds for any particular game.
Future Trends
The Prop Machine spends a large amount of time analyzing trends for starting pitchers to get a good idea of not only the pitches they tend to throw but the effectiveness of that pitch against opposing batters.
A prime example of a future trend for this week would be Texas Rangers' starter Yu Darvish. He is getting batters to pull the ball 44.7 percent of the time this season. On those pulled balls, he is allowing a slugging percentage of .783, which is the seventh-highest among all Major League pitchers. Darvish is also coming off a rough outing against Houston in which he allowed six runs on 10 hits. The oddmakers still have him overvalued with their player props, making it an excellent time for an "under" play on the Texas right-hander.
The Prop Machine Free Pick
The Prop Machine's free pick for last Monday's MLB player props was a 4-Unit play on the "over 5" (-140 Bovada) on Seattle starter Roenis Elias's total number of strikeouts in a game against the New York Mets. It was not even close as the rookie fanned eight in the Mariners' 5-2 victory.
By adding another winner to its weekly free picks for this weekly article, The Prop Machine improved to 11-3 in its last 14 selections. More importantly, this highly-profitable run would have equated to a return of $3,080 for any $100 bettor that decided to take full advantage of these picks by wagering on the recommended unit play with Doc's Unit Betting System.
This Monday night, The Prop Machine will look to extend this incredible run with another 4-Unit play on the "under 8" (-130 Bovada) on Yu Darvish's total strikeouts in Monday night's game against the New York Yankees.
