There was a record-setting fine levied in the NFL, and there are record-setting ticket resale prices as College Station prepares to host another “Game of the Century” this Saturday. Let’s look at some numbers for sports betting this week.

$38,000: Value of a game check for Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

$100,000: Fine levied against Suh for an illegal low block on Sunday. It was the highest fine in NFL history for an on-field incident.

$87,500: Fine received by Chicago Bears linebacker Bryan Cox in 1996 for making an obscene gesture to a line judge and screaming obscenities during a game. It had been the highest fine in NFL history until Suh's fine this week.
