Recap: The Packers scored 21 points off of three turnovers and jumped out to a 21-3 lead in the second quarter before the Steelers answered with a late touchdown just before halftime. Green Bay suffered a couple of key injuries in the first half, and Donald Driver and Charles Woodson would not return in the second half. Pittsburgh controlled most of the third quarter and got within four points after a Rashard Mendenhall eight-yard rushing touchdown. Pittsburgh would dominate the field position after this score, but missed a crucial field goal that would have cut the lead to one point. Green Bay would benefit from fumble by Mendenhall and score their final touchdown of the game. Pittsburgh would get the ball back down six points with two minutes left in the game, but did not mount a serious challenge as Ben Roethlisberger’s pass fell incomplete on fourth-and-five. The win gives Green Bay its fourth Super Bowl victory and their 15th NFL Championship.
