ArenaBowl Dream Matchup
by Max Powers - 07/18/2008
The 2008 ArenaBowl will feature two of the best teams in the Arena Football League, San Jose and Philadelphia. On July 27 these squads will face off in Bayou Country in New Orleans. The SabreCats will be looking for their fourth championship in the last seven years. They will also be going for back-to-back championships after their dominating ArenaBowl victory in 2007. The ArenaBowl had been plagued by some questionable matchups in recent years when the chalk was not able to emerge from the playoffs, but that will not be the case this season.

Most teams in the Arena league have at least one session of training camp where they practice with another team, so we won't get a good feeling about this year's league until the regular season kicks off.

Arena Football Week 1 Odds
by Vegas Sports Informer - 02/28/2008
Most people think that football season if over. However, the Arena Football 2008 season starts Friday and this version of football actually has the potential to be much more profitable than the NFL. The lines are weaker because the oddsmakers don't spend that much time making the odds, so there are plenty of opportunities to profit.
