Utah +3.5 over TCU - Thursday, 8 pm EST
Texas Christian has been a super disappointment this year from what people thought they could potentially be. Already having lost three games, their defense, especially, has not been on point.
Conversely, Utah has bounced back nicely since the return of starting quarterback Brian Johnson. The Utes have won their last three games, while TCU is just 1-4 ATS in their last five.
As a small underdog, look for the road Utes to come into this important Mountain West clash and leave with the outright victory.
Prediction: Utah 27, TCU 23
Rice -2 over Memphis - Saturday, 3 pm EST
Going back to the well. The Owls have been a nice free pick moneymaker for us this season as big underdogs the last two weeks, but this time around we like them as the favorite at home. Their offense is clicking behind starting quarterback Chase Clement and his return to last year's top form.
Rice has gone 8-0 ATS in their last eight conference games, while Memphis continues to prove there are a very inconsistent team in C-USA. The Tigers are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog at this number, and it will be the home team that takes this one down.
Prediction: Rice 36, Memphis 26
UNLV -2.5 over Colorado State - Saturday, 9:00 pm EST
The Rams continue their meltdown of 2007. Colorado State seems to be dropping games by every which manner, and last weekend was arguably the worst yet. In a rivalry game against intrastate Air Force, the Falcons came in and left with a 24-point win.
Colorado State has now dropped their last 10 games, going 1-9 ATS during their slump. UNLV has 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games, while the home team has gone 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.
The streak continues, as the Rebels cover the small price at home.
Prediction: UNLV 30, Colorado State 27
