The North Carolina State Wolfpack will be looking to move to 3-0 for the first time since 2010 when they face the South Florida Bulls on Saturday afternoon.

In a game that showed off North Carolina State's strengths and their weaknesses, the Wolfpack pulled off a 46-34 win over Old Dominion this past weekend. NC State put up 470 total yards, including 217 rushing yards, but they also gave up 478 yards in the game. The Wolfpack converted six of their 10 third down attempts in the game and didn't turn the ball over.

North Carolina State's best player in their win over Old Dominion was running back Shadrach Thornton, who had 86 yards and three touchdowns on just 14 carries. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett was 21-for-29 in the game for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

South Florida had a rough second half against Maryland in their second game of the season and ended up taking the 24-17 loss. The Bulls looked good in the first half and took a 17-14 lead into the locker rooms, but their offense struggled the rest of the way and they finished with just 257 total yards in the loss.

Bulls running back Marlon Mack rushed for 73 yards in that game against Maryland, but that was on 22 carries. Quarterback Steven Bench was only able to complete 14 of his 36 passes in the loss for 162
