Tyson Ross and Corey Kluber will both be looking to improve upon their first starts of the season when the San Diego Padres take on the Cleveland Indians Monday night. In his first start last Wednesday, Tyson Ross went five innings against the Dodgers and allowed 3 earned runs on five hits and four walks while striking out seven. The strikeouts were nice, but his command was a bit off, which is the main reason he took the loss in the game.

Nick Swisher has only faced Ross four times so far in his career, but he has shown that he can hit the righty by getting two hits, including one home run. Michael Brantley hasn't had the same luck, getting just one single in six career at-bats against Ross.

Corey Kluber faced the Oakland A's in his first start of the season, and it is definitely a game he will want to put behind him. He went just 3.1 innings in the start and gave up five runs on eight hits. His main issue was allowing Oakland runners to get on early in each inning, which they then took advantage of by getting the runs across later in the innings.

The only Cleveland hitter that Kluber has faced so far in his career is outfielder Seth Smith, who has struck out in all three matchups between the two.
